Two of my mods for both Far Cry 3 and the DLC, Blood Dragon.
- Increase performance on low-end PCs.

Hey, thanks for checking out my mod! This is really two mods in one,
for both Far Cry 3 -- build 1.05 -- and the DLC, Blood Dragon.
FEATURES:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
This collection contains two distinct types of mods:
NO MMAP: Removes the minimap, health and armor bars completely
from the heads-up display.
XTREME LOW: Increases performance by lowering various graphical
settings. I've tested and verified both games as playable on an old
GeForce 405, which has an average G3D Mark of 226, significantly
lower than an Intel HD 4000, which has an average of 451 -- ergo,
it should run well, even on integrated GPUs.
Here's a brief rundown of the mod files in this collection:
FAR_CRY_3_NO_MMAP: NO MMAP for Far Cry 3.
FAR_CRY_3_XTREME_LOW: XTREME LOW for Far Cry 3.
FAR_CRY_3_COMBINED: Combination of these two mods for Far Cry 3.
BLOOD_DRAGON_NO_MMAP: NO MMAP for Blood Dragon.
BLOOD_DRAGON_XTREME_LOW: XTREME LOW for Blood Dragon.
BLOOD_DRAGON_COMBINED: Combination of these two mods for Blood Dragon.
INSTALLATION:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
The installation is fairly straightforward -- especially if you're
already familiar with how to install mods for Far Cry 3.
STEP 1:
Far Cry 3:
Extract the archive of your choice and put the following files:
"patch.dat" and "patch.fat" in your
"Far Cry 3\data_win32" directory.
Blood Dragon:
Extract the archive of your choice and put the following files:
"patch.dat" and "patch.fat" in your
"Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon\data_win32" directory.
STEP 2:
You can activate the XTREME LOW mod by either
1. Copying "GamerProfile.xml" to the appropriate profile directory, or
2. Setting all your graphical settings to "low" in the options.
Note that if you do it through the second option, the resolution
won't go lower than 800x600, which will impact performance a bit.
"GamerProfile.xml" should be copied to either:
"Far Cry 3: C:\Users\<YourName>\Documents\My Games\Far Cry 3", or
"Blood Dragon: C:\Users\<YourName>\Documents\My Games\Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon"
