How to use this tool: Read the included README.txt file!
Extract fc4autosave.zip
Install: double-click "install.bat"
BACKUP Location: C:\Users\ <YOUR USERNAME>
\Documents\FC4Saves\ <DATE> \ (e.g. FC4Saves folder is located in
"My Documents")
NOTE: This tool only works if UPLAY is installed on your C: drive (your FC4 game install location doesn't matter).
NOTE: Probably only works on English versions of Windows.
NOTE: Backups work with uplay cloud saves; however, you probably need to disable cloud saves before restoring old backups.
Uninstall: double-click "remove.bat" (this file is located in your Documents\FC4Saves folder)
How to restore backups:
Locate the backup date you want to restore (My Documents\FC4Saves\ < DATE YOU WANT> \ <f0309ad9....> )
Copy the <f0309ad9....> folder to C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\
NOTE: This amateurish script is provided as-is, YMMV, etc.
NOTE: Someone should make a better, automatic backup & restore program. I'm not a programmer, obviously.
