This mod silences the very loud and annoying insect and frog sounds that can only be heard on the far west edge of the map. If you have a camp anywhere on this river, then this mod will help you retain your sanity.

If you've ever deployed a camp down on the river on the west edge of the map, then you will know just how loud an annoying the insect (and frog) sounds can be. Depending on the in-game day/night cycle, these background sounds can be very loud. At certain times there are rhythmic chirping sounds that can be overwhelmingly frustrating to listen to. I was so frustrated by these noises that I decided to do something about it. The end result is this little mod. The far western river is the only place that I've found that has these annoying noises and this mod silences the insect and frog sounds that can only be heard in this one location on the map.
If you are interested in silencing other annoying background noises, then just search for 'silent' here on nexusmods. There are other mods out there that deal with other noises that some deem to be annoying. But for me and my ears, I just wanted to shut up these annoying bug sounds on the west edge of the map.
Just like all other Fallout 76 mods, place the file SilentRiverInsects.ba2 into your game's /Data folder and add the mod to your Fallout76Custom.ini file...
