Market76 Search is a simple Windows Desktop Application to search the subreddit r/Market76 for keywords in auction postings. It then parses that data into Have, Want, and Link into an easy to use table. You can select what item you want to view then either click "Open Link" or simply double-click the line in the table. This program doesn't use the Reddit API. It uses their url search string format in a web browser object. Because of this it only provides the most recent 15 results, but there is no need for a token and searches are therefore not limited.

Here's the straight talk...

Anymore than 15 results would be a waste. Use the program and you'll see that only the first 3-5 listing are viable. You start going past that and you'll find the item has already been traded or sold.

I didn't want to distribute an automated version that constantly checks for new items and alerts you when they appear as I thought that would be too much of an advantage for the public. This is manual. Meaning you have to be at your computer and doing the searches to find anything, but this still gives you an advantage.

Here's an example of how I use it...

I have a laptop at my side when playing 76 online. I use it to do my research while playing. Now I can pull up Market76 Search and put in say "bffr" in the search field. Then while I am playing, all I have to do is reach over and hit the Enter key to see if anything new popped up. If so, I double click the line in the table, it opens the link in r/Market76 and I do my trading. Let's say I'm selling something instead. I can grab the Want column and drag it to the left in front of the Have column and then do a search for "AFFR Handmade". Now I can see who wants one right now. Same as before, double click the line, open the link in Reddit and do some trading. Easy and simple.

The main reason I made this is for my dyslexia. It causes me to get the H:'s and W:'s mixed up in my head and I end up asking someone how much they want for something that they themselves... want. No more! Now it's formatted in a way that makes my brain very happy. I hope it helps someone out there like me. :)
