Is it possible to get this to work with the Secret Service helmet? I've tried both, the 25% and 50% version but the light on that helmet it just too bright.
Some power armor helmets have a unique light that uses a different texture, so they will not be affected by this mod. The pipboy light is what I was going to replace first, but I've yet to find the texture that is used.
In response to post #77883953. #86657913 is also a reply to the same post.

Hi ZOMGH4X. Can you please update us on how your search is coming along on altering/fixing:
(1) The height at which the light emanates from. For example: The top of a counter or shelf that you feel shouldbe lit by your helm-light and/or you wish would be lit by your Pip-Boy light, but it does not.
(2) More adjustments to brightness variables.
(3) That annoying short time of a quick burst of flickering before the light is stable, which usually happens when you exit your Pip/Quick-boy, or when you turn the light on; To see what I mean, be sure to be in a low light environment, in a building or cave that requires a load screen to get into. That way the exterior world's "sun lighting" environment will not lessen your ability to clearly notice the bothersome effect I describe.
Some people will be bothered more by this effect more than others, a little bit like some people can experience a very mild to severe epileptic seizure from stroboscopic visuals effects at a Rave party, a movie, or freaky scene in a video game. (and I don't remember if it's different if one is in power armour)
It still works as of June 2, 2020. The default brightness I'm getting is similar to the number 5 picture above. Anyone know how to make it brighter like the first picture above?
