I'm not sure why Bethesda gave us a weapon that is seemingly oriented towards VATS-less free aim play and decided to give it no sights at all - not even iron sights. I've heard it's intended to be fired from the hip, but quite frankly, I don't care. What's interesting is that it actually does have a sight attachment, which is installed by default, but it's just a flat piece of metal. All I did was add the reflex sight from the .44 revolver to said flat piece of metal. I tried adding the reflex sight from the laser rifle/pistol first, but honestly, it looked really goofy because of how far down the reticle sits.
Note that I cannot move the reticle higher and still keep it accurate to where your shots will land. As you can see in the screenshots, it's currently positioned exactly where it should be. This is a limitation of only being able to edit the mesh, and if I moved it higher, it would be inaccurate. I might tinker with it later and see how it would look if the sight surrounding it was lowered deeper into the receiver, but I personally felt like the current positioning was the best compromise.
As for permissions, feel free to do whatever you want with this file. Bethesda created the assets used, I just copied and pasted them and did some repositioning.
