Gallery images are quick & dirty gifs taken with original Bethesda textures/models (no mods).
- Increased lighting depth via ambient light & tonemapping adjustments
- Light adaptive sharpening
- Colour correction to reduce over-tinting
... all with the goal of taking Fallout 76's often flat visuals and making them crisper while toning down the colour wash effect (where it looks like someone smeared coloured chalk over the image in certain lighting/weather). Nukashade is designed with regular gameplay in mind, and it is what I use for everyday gaming. Explore the mountains of Appalachia, now with some Vim! ;)
- Download Reshade and run the installer. The Fallout 76 folder you're looking for is the one where your Fallout76.exe is located.
- Extract Nukashade preset (this mod) into the same folder you installed Reshade to, or simply select it when prompted during the Reshade installation.
- Once in game, follow the on-screen prompts to open the Reshade GUI and then select Nukashade from the preset dropdown.
