Night Lighting 76

Bring back those starry night skies to Appalachia!
Version 2.0 out now. Includes finalized Experimental version, now called "Special" version. Slight adjustments to "Normal" and "Dark" versions. Slight adjustments to SSAO settings.

Shrinking a picture increases its perceived contrast, so the screen shots look a little darker than the actual game will.

Mod includes custom ini edits to restore the night sky and reduce eye adaptation (aka dynamic range) and three (3) ReShade ini files.
NightLighting76-Normal is recommended to return the picture to the original luminance.
NightLighting76-Dark has true blacks, but you'll need your pip-boy light!
NightLighting76-Special has additional shaders to create more dynamic luminance throughout the scene.

Download and copy/paste the required Fallout76Custom.ini edits to your file. Found in the directory:
Documents\My Games\Fallout76

Download and install ReShade: http://reshade.me
Install the shader packs
Move the NightLighting76 ini files into the root directory of the game, the folder that contains the data folder.

Launch the game!
Press the [HOME] key to open the ReShade menu.
Select a NightLighting76 ini file to use.
Confirm the required shaders are correctly active for "Normal" and "Dark" versions:
*Colourfulness.fx
*Deband.fx
*LiftGammaGain.fx
*MagicBloom.fx

Confirm the required shaders are correctly active for "Special" version:
*Colourfulness.fx
*Deband.fx
*LiftGammaGain.fx
*LumaSharpen.fx
*MagicBloom.fx
*PPFX Bloom.fx
*SCurve.fx

NOTES:
*When using "NightLighting76-Dark.ini" it is recommended to switch to "NightLighting76-Normal.ini" for the Expeditions in The Pitt and Atlantic City.
It is easily done on the fly by opening the ReShade Menu with the [HOME] key, clicking on the file path, selecting the .ini and then clicking the "Select" button.
Special version seems ok to me, but you may wish to use Normal on Expeditions.

*The point of the .ini settings changes are to make a dark night sky possible. Without the .ini the night sky is always very bright and the eye adaptation (aka dynamic range) is set to a very high maximum, which causes too much change between the sky and the ground. The ReShade will then correct the gamma and luminance and make slight color adjustments.

*It is not recommended to use "bAlwaysInstantEyeAdapt=1" because the .ini edits will alter the values and minimize the adaptation effect.
The new settings are much more natural and less distracting.

*Experimental version is now finalized, included and renamed to "NightLighting76-Special.ini"

*Special edition may cost a few fps.

*Optional map file brightens the map if you find it too dark.
