About this mod

This mod is an upscale of the original map with included resource maps. It's much clearer! This mod only works with Uni Map.

This map still needs some work (the text looks a bit odd, along with highway markers), but I figured I should release it for now just so people can use it.

I used realesr-general-wdn-x4v3 with chaiNNer to upscale it, then I did some manual work and conversion. It was then saved as BC1 with mipmaps.

Thanks to Mappalachia for the map generation function! This allowed me to generate resource maps

Installation:
I only support installation through this tool: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout76/mods/546

This mod relies on Uni Map, get it here: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout76/mods/1534

This is how I installed it:
  • Install Uni Map in Fallout 76 Quick Configuration by dragging your Uni Map download into the main interface, and pressing deploy in the bottom right
  • Press the folder icon on the left side, which opens the Mods folder
  • Locate Uni Map within it, open it. This is your Uni Map installation. If you don't see it, make sure you deployed the mod as described above
  • Copy RestoredVanillaMap.xml from your copy of my mod into UniMap_MapBooks
  • Open UniMapConfig.xml in a text editor, and specify the RestoredVanillaMap.xml file like so:
        <MapBook Book="1">
            UniMap_MapBooks\RestoredVanillaMap.xml
        </MapBook>
6. Drag RestoredVanillaMap.ba2 from the downloaded mod into the mod manager in Fallout 76 Quick Configuration
7. Press Deploy in the bottom right. This will install it to the same Mods folder you were in earlier and put a .ba2 file in your Data folder
