I've always felt the sounds of heavy weapons were a bit lacking, but oddly enough, only in 1st-person. I noticed during the first mothman equinox event that the sounds were actually better when hearing it from other players/NPCs, so this mod takes those sounds, and combines them with the 1st-person ones to make what I feel are punchier heavy weapon sounds. This is done for the 50cal, minigun, gatling gun, and laser gatling.

This doesn't apply to all heavy weapons, as not all heavy weapons have a punchier other player/NPC counterpart. Additionally, this won't be done for any other type of weapon, as every other weapon for other players/NPCs use generic sounds shared by several weapons, most likely to cut down on server load (though heavy weapons were deemed unique enough to give them each separate sounds).

To install, first create a "Fallout76Custom.ini" in the following directory (if you don't already have one):
C:\Users\Username\Documents\My Games\Fallout 76\

Then, put the following lines in the Fallout76Custom.ini:
[Archive]
sResourceArchive2List = PunchierHeavyWeapons.ba2,

or, if you have multiple mods:
[Archive]
sResourceArchive2List = ExampleMod1.ba2, ExampleMod2.ba2, PunchierHeavyWeapons.ba2,

then, simply place "PunchierHeavyWeapons.ba2" in your Fallout 76 data directory, which by default is:
C:\BethesdaDotNet\Bethesda.net Launcher\games\Fallout76\Data\

or, if you have the game on Steam:
C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout76\Data\
