A bit late but it could be the version difference of SP.

Awesome! Do you mind sharing a good tutorial on how to export models and textures into the SP? Some sort of a SP starter guide for a fallout modder?

Here's a quick recording I did of me retexturing the machete hilt. I kinda forgot to change the resolution from when I was recording short game clips to show off things I had made so the resolution of the video is really low. However it should get the general idea across of how I did things.
Also here's the reddit post I used to get the .dds settings: post

      Thanks Rigell for asking.
Thanks biliam360 for the content of your reply.

My most sincere wish, especially in our comparatively tiny community of F76 mods,
is for all of us to consider maintaining ( or returning to ) a spirit of openness,
of sharing, and of helping one-another in the improvement & widening of skill-sets,
      rather than the opposite.

      Congrats my friends
      Proudly , BorderXer

Thanks for the vid, it helped me to understand couple things! Still, I couldn't make your preset to appear in SP unfortunately. After several experiments I figured out my own preset eventually. Maybe the ones from the 2018 version aren't compatible with 2021 version?

You didn't specify where to put it, so I made a search and found the newly created presets under this path: "Documents\Allegorithmic\Substance Painter\shelf\export-presets\.alg_meta". Put your file there (alongside the ones I created) and it didn't work. There is the same folder structure within the Program files folder, so I also put it there, but to no avail.

Yeah, substance changes a lot from version to version I wouldn't be surprised if they were incompatible.
Sorry about the ambiguity; I didn't really think about people having issues with the version or location to put the file.
