Completely changing how Mittenlurk eggs behavior. Now, it is a 50/50 chance an eggs hatch when you grab or destroy one of them.

For the past 9,000 times you've run into a nest of Mittenlurk eggs, have you ever wondered why it’s so boring?
You can casually walk past them, wait for them to hatch, squash them with your little pinky, and take all the eggs without losing a hair.

How about something different this time?
You walk past a bunch of eggs, sitting perfectly still on the ground. You look around and trying to pick the best one for your next meal—put the first one in your pocket, then go for the next one, and oh shit. It hatches a little wanker and wakes up the whole nest.

The next thing you know, you're being chased by a bunch of these little suckers, try to latch onto you hysterically because you wake them up from taking their nap. While these explosive little ones won’t kill you outright, their digestive enzymes under their soft-shells are disgusting enough to make you sick—or weaken you just enough for their parents to finish you off.

Not today, you think, as you reload a previous save to try again.

I like creating mods without additional scripts to maximize compatibility, so you can install or remove this mod anytime without messing up your save. Thank you, Fallout London, for inspiring me to start modding again.

Not compatible with any mod that changes mittenlurk egg functionality. Visual mods should be fine, though.

There are plenty of mods that do the same thing...
However, I have yet to find a mod that modifies the mittenlurk egg hatch behavior, so I made this one for my own enjoyment. Keep in mind that everyone codes their mods differently, and I designed this with minimal editing, avoiding adding scripts to the game save.

I found a nest where mittenlurk egg still hatch when I walk nearby...
Try to load a full save (non-quicksave or autosave). If a previous cell is loaded with a quick-save, the Egg trigger might be loaded. 

The explosions from these little creatures don’t do much damage...
This is by design. The explosion deals minor acid damage to you ("acid soaker"), but it’s loud enough to wake up their friends nearby to gang up on you.

These explosions crash my game...
The explosions use the vanilla engine for their effects. However, if your system isn’t strong enough to handle multiple explosions simultaneously, it could crash the engine (the same thing happens with vanilla explosions).

The mod crashed my Windows and save, and now my parents won’t talk to me...
Delete this mod immediately. This mod doesn’t deserve you.
