Changelogs
Version 1.1
Fixed issue that could lead to eventual, but harmless, atta-boy duplicates in player inventory
Refreshing the Atta-Boy
Every so often something may go wrong with your game and leave you with an invisible or missing Atta-Boy. This mod fixes that problem by totally refreshing the Atta-Boy each time you load a save.
It works by running a quest on startup that clears your inventory of any existing bonked or duplicated atta-boys, then adding one atta-boy back to the inventory and re-equipping it.
How to use:
Install and forget. Simply use Vortex, or extract the archive to your main game directory. The process takes place automatically when you load your save.
Optionally, if you find your Atta-Boy missing mid session, you can enter "bat attaboy" in the console to run the process manually. This operates separately from the mod.
(this is intended for those who have a chronic Atta-boy disappearance issue with their preferred load order, but it can be used one-off)
