Is there some reason the G67 patch for /just/ AWKCR isn't on the nexus anywhere any more? Seriously, at least say there isn't a separate patch somewhere instead of linking to a dead url
Forgive my ignorance, but I'm curious what this patch is for. I'm guessing that some various mods aren't compatible with Armorsmith Extended or the underlying Armor Keywords Community patch, and these make them compatible somehow?
I'm also curious why mod authors dont make their own compatibility patches?
I told you where to go to get the patch that was already existing.
I also told you eventually I will have one with my final version. Just because I can't do it right this second for my unfinished mod doesn't make me "woefully unhelpful".
Thank you Cokla for creating this hold-over patch, I came here to say. I guess I'll leave that at that.
Whoa whoa whoa, you specifically told me "not anytime soon. If I don't get it done before March, could be a few months at best guess." and "I don't want to make promises about things I can't keep." Did you really think I was gonna hold out on an ambiguous promise like that? Specifically when I then happen upon cokla's good work here?
Besides, the patch you sent me to required me to have several of your mods installed in order for it to work, hence not what I needed. I'm sorry if you think me rude, but you were clearly not going be of any help to me any time soon.
Calling someone "woefully unhelpful" is kind of rude, and a little over the top dramatic as well. You could have easily edited my patch that she pointed you to to customize it to your liking. There's even instruction how to in the AE FAQ. You really should have apologized instead of doubling down on your insult and throwing in a non-apology apology. Keep it classy.
Would you have felt better about it if I had wrote:
I haven't been able to get into contact with one of the authors, and the other offered an eventual promise and in the meantime a patch which at first, second, and third glance doesn't fit my needs, but if I had read through everything the author of the patch had wrote on his extensive mod page, I would have found, tucked away in the forums section a tutorial on how to customize the patch to fit my needs. Which by the way in my five years on this site I've never seen a mod author offer, particularly not one without access to the official modding tool. But oh well my mistake.
Gota you do realize the mod authors use their free time to make the mods and not tailor them to everyones needs. Catwoman has been nothing but helpful to people by firstly releasing her mods for people, keeping them up to date and functional for everyones enjoyment, and what she said to you doesnt classify to me as "woefully unhelpful". It sounds like she (god I hope its a she) has more important things to do. Personally instead of bothering mod authors to tailor patches to suit me I took FO4Edit myself and tweaked the patches from Armorsmith to suit me. Took some trial and error but no more then 20-30 minutes to figure out. All you need to do is remove the un-need mods from the patches on the Armorsmith page.
You're talking as if I kept badgering her about the patch. It seems to me everyone wants to focus on my calling her unhelpful, fine, I'm sorry I called you unhelpful. Once I was told it wasn't happening any time soon, I moved on because I too realize I have no right to make demands. I then came upon this mod, and assumed the author was taking suggestions, which he was. Had he said no I would have once again moved on. Why is my asking for a patch suddenly so controversial??
