I know it's picky, but as a former M14 user in real life the operating rod handle is on the wrong side in this mod. The OP handle should be on the right side, and the scope mounting lugs on the left.
This has to be one of the worst mods available. 38 bugs and not a word from the author explaining why his mod is just a mass of bugs. I have admired the modding community of so very many games for a long time but this kind of sloppy, half assed pos is a disgrace.
This so-called 'mod' should be removed. I get the feeling it was created deliberately this poorly by a console user to give the PC modding community a bad name.
The original author's name should be removed and replaced with Fowburner's as, at least HE has created a working mod of this shoddy sham.
I managed to make an entire edit of your M14 rifle.
I firstly managed to make it's default caliber the 7.62mm bullet from Nuka World[Although that certain DLC may be required ><], and gave it the more ingame lore friendly name "Battle Rifle." Removed all the other "5.56 alternate" ammo types excluding the types that go normally with the weapon, and instead made a .308 chamber in the receiver section which is accessible at rank 3 Gun Nut.
