Classic Remnants Power Armor is back! The original mod has been almost completely recreated and improved! The armor has seen extensive improvements to both the models and textures, giving it an appearance that more closely represents its original look in previous games. On top of this, several systems have been given a complete overhaul, prioritizing customization and improving quality of life for the user.
The Advanced Power Armor Mk. 1 was the standard-issue armor issued to Enclave soldiers on the West Coast. Its design was derived from the Pre-War X-01 prototype power armor we see in Fallout 4 and 76. In this regard, it can be considered its spiritual successor. Following the destruction of the Enclave Oil Rig, many former soldiers fled into the wastes with their armor. The APA Mk. 1 was eventually replaced by APA Mk. 2, as seen in Fallout 3.
Prior to installing this mod, it is required that the original Classic Remnants Power Armor mod be fully uninstalled. If you do not have it installed or already know how to make a clean save, you can skip this step.
Load your game and make a hard save, then close the game. Disable the mod in your mod manager of choice, or completely remove the files from your data folder. Load your game again, go in an interior cell and wait/sleep for 48 in-game hours. After this, make another hard save and close your game. Now you can install this mod!
Once the player has reached level 30, head to the Dugout Inn in Diamond City and look for the new note near the "WANTED" poster.

The quest will direct you towards the southwestern edge of the Glowing Sea, near Vault 95. Your quest marker should point you towards an NPC wearing the power armor. After you kill him, make sure to pick up his holotape and read it. The second quest should start immediately after the first one finishes.
Alternatively you could spawn in the armor with the console or by using an item browser.
