About this mod
Introduces new craftable Nuka Grenade flavours with matching fire colours, restores the cut content Nuka Cherry Grenade, enhances the Nuka Quantum Grenade to be more powerful and visually appealing, makes the regular Nuka Grenades (that the Children of Atom love) craftable and gives the latter wickedly toxic yellow-green flames to distinguish them.

In-Game Footage:
(Important notes about the in-game footage start at 0:51 seconds, and the in-game footage itself around 1:11.)
Please do not be dismayed by either my screenshots or video. My computer is quite old and far below even the minimum specs for Fallout 4. Although I sadly cannot show the new explosions with any degree of justice, I have no doubt they will look amazing in more modern systems.
With that out of the way, these new grenades do not cover all the Nuka Cola variants; only the most colourful ones. Suffice it to say, these are all (with three exceptions) brand new grenades—there is no need to select your favourite colour as an override.
Thanks to the awesome splendor of FO4Edit, Colourful Combustibles has been tagged as an ESL file.
THE SWEET DEETS
Provided you have the correct components and skill perks, you can create grenades for Nuka Grape (purple fire), Nuka Void (cobalt blue fire), Nuka Rush (green fire), Nuka Love (pink fire) and Nuka Cherry (red fire).
Nuka Cherry is one of the three exceptions I mentioned above. It existed, but was unfinished and unimplemented and therefore cut content. Not trusting the meshes and inner connected texture paths left behind (some of the Impact Effects looked conspicuously turquoise instead of red), I rebuilt it by using the Nuka Quantum Grenade as a base and then went on an editing spree.

The other two exceptions are the Nuka Quantum Grenades themselves, and regular ol' Nuka Grenades.
In a bid for colour perfection, the Nuka Quantum Grenades were linked to more potent turquoise texture paths and many of the vertex colours were adjusted for a similar effect.
The regular Nuka Grenades (used notably by the Children of Atom) were painstakingly (their special explosion mesh is huge) altered to be more unique. They now blow up in toxic yellow-green flames. If a Child of Atom starts a fight somewhere, believe me, you'll know it.
I wanted to edit the regular Nuka Grenades largely because of something in Fallout 3 and New Vegas: Namely, Nuka Grenades explode with turquoise flames in those games.
According to F3, Nuka Grenades are made with Nuka-Cola Quantum. New Vegas substitutes a Nuka-Cola Quartz, but the effect is the same. I'm not sure if what Fallout 4 did was a deliberate retcon or just a slip of the mind, but I for one was extremely excited when I first managed to loot a Nuka Grenade. The ensuing mundane orange explosion was at once both supremely disappointing and confusing. Since Nuka World's Nuka Quantum Grenades have apparently stolen the fire (literally) of the Nuka Grenades of yore, this seemed like a great way to give them some much needed oomph.
Oh, and you can craft Nuka Grenades now! Their required perks and components are not for the faint of heart, but you can absolutely do it.
CRAFTING
As a refresher, those wanting to make Nuka Quantum Grenades must have access to a Chemistry Station, have the Project Cobalt Schematics, and possess the Demolition Expert Rank 4 perk, as well as the Science! Rank 4 perk. One must also have the following components:
Acid (1)
Adhesive (4)
Aluminum (4)
Circuitry (2)
Nuka-Cola Quantum (1)
Spring (1)
This will net you a single Nuka Quantum Grenade.
The recipes for the new Nuka (Cola) Grenades are much the same, except you do not need the Project Cobalt Schematics, and you must have a bottle of either Nuka-Cola Love, Nuka-Cola Cherry, Nuka-Cola Grape, Nuka-Cola Void, or Nuka-Cola Rush in substitute of Nuka-Cola Quantum.
To create a Nuka Grenade (favoured by the Children of Atom) you need:
Acid (1)
Adhesive (4)
Aluminum (4)
Circuitry (2)
Nuclear Material (6)
Spring (1)
You must also possess the Demolition Expert Rank 4 perk, as well as the Nuclear Physicist Rank 2 perk.

DAMAGE OUTPUT
Owing to how difficult it is to earn your ability to craft Nuka Quantum Grenades, their damage was slightly adjusted in order for them to stand apart from their new Nuka brethren.
For every other new grenade, I looked at which Nuka Cola flavours they were crafted with and made the damage worthy of the value/rarity of the ingredient. For instance, anything created with Nuka-Cola Quantum mixed in had to be powerful, but not greater than the actual Nuka Quantum Grenades.
Another thing to note is that Nuka Quantum Grenades—and therefore its new Nuka (Cola) Grenade siblings—are bugged.* They cannot be shot at using V.A.T.S. and will not explode for double damage even if the player character has Demolition Expert rank 4. Hence another reason I slightly increased the damage for the Nuka Quantum Grenade and made its brethren powerful in their own turn. According to what I have read, reports of this bug date back for years, and it was even passed on to Fallout 76.
* Note:
THE NUMBERS
315 Damage = Nuka-Quantum Grenade (previous default of 300)
301 Damage + 100 Rads = Nuka Grenade (no changes made)
275 = Nuka Void Grenade (Nuka-Cola Quantum is needed to make Nuka-Cola Void.)
245 = Nuka Love Grenade (Nuka-Cola Quartz is needed to make Nuka-Cola Love)
245 = Nuka Rush Grenade (Nuka-Cola Victory is needed to make Nuka-Cola Rush
215 = Nuka Cherry Grenade (previous default of 200)
215 = Nuka Grape Grenade
Just for reference:
150 Damage + 150 Energy = Plasma Grenade
150 Damage = Frag Grenade

ADDITIONAL EFFECTS
The radius of the explosions of the Nuka Quantum Grenades and that of the other Nuka (Cola) Grenades are much bigger than they are in vanilla. I looked at Kevkeiv's mod when trying to figure out how big the explosions should be without being overpowered and found it to be a good balance. Please note that the Nuka Grenades of Colourful Combustibles WILL knock NPCs off their feet if they are within range of the explosion.
For reference, the Inner Radius of the Nuka-Quantum Grenade explosion was increased to 300 (previously it was 50) and the Outer Radius to 800 (previously it was 200). The other new Nuka (Cola) Grenades follow the same parameters.
KNOWN ISSUES
You may occasionally spot some default orange flames darting about; this is due to how Impact Data sets work. For example, let's say you lob a Nuka Grape grenade at a car. There's going to be a beautiful blaze of purple, certainly, but cars have their own explosion sets, so you will see plenty of orange fire, too.
There is also a chance that certain ground terrain is set to use the default flames. Although I explored the Impact Data sets linked to the Nuka Grenade pretty thoroughly, something may have slipped by me. If you watched the video I linked to, then you know what I'm dealing with and can understand why identifying different ground textures is next to impossible in my game.
