Description

This is effectively just NoGrassias from Skyrim SE (no relation) but for Fallout 4. Same idea behind it. Specifically, any rubble, rocks, dirt, and anything with "NoGrass" in it's name will have it's vanilla grass type listings reinforced with an ITM.

Grass mod creators often enable grass everywhere because it's lush and pretty, but it's also detrimental to gameplay. Often you'll have grass hiding items or growing through sidewalks+floors. It looks ridiculous and ends up being more annoying than anything. This plugin can revert some of those changes by enforcing vanilla's grass type lists.

Install & Uninstall

Add it to your mod manager like usual. Then simply load the plugin at the bottom of your load order, so it can overwrite your grass mod's plugin.

To uninstall, just remove the plugin. Safe to add or remove at anytime.

FAQ

Q: Does this require [any specific grass mod]?
A: No. This should work with any grass mod. If your grass mod has no plugin (i.e. is just a grass retexture), you don't need this mod, by the way.

Q: This mod is dirty according to LOOT/xEdit! Should I use quick auto clean to clean it?
A. No. Do not clean this plugin - all ITMs are intentional and required for functionality. This mod's ITMs are weaponized as a lawnmower and are an integral part of the mod. I can't realistically edit the plugin of every grass mod now and forever to not alter grassless landscapes, so an ITM is the next best thing.

Q: Doesn't this ruin grass mod makers' artistic vision?
A: Yes. Not having asphalt be a grass field was more important to me though.

Q: This broke my game. I want a refund of my caps!
A: Nu uh.

Q: Do you think God stays in heaven because he too lives in fear of what he’s created?
A: Maybe.
