◆Picking
Vanilla picking was too easy and boring. And I find cheat mods that skip picking equally boring.
I sigh when I see the large number of hairpins left over.
This mod adjusts the “fragility of hairpins” without reducing the “picking sweet spot” that we often see.Specifically, change the “fLockpickBreak” group in Game Setting.In Vanilla, the value is the same for all difficulty levels. In this mod, the brittleness of the hairpin is 4 times higher in Apprentice, 2 times higher in Adept, about 1.3 times higher in Expert, and the original in Master.
And this can be easily changed in FO4Edit, so find the value that is challenging for you.
The difficulty itself will not change, so you will not get stuck. And now the hairpin will have a consumable value.
◆Hacking
Hacking was tricky for me. However, it was still tasteless to skip it, so I decided to adjust the difficulty.
There are many mods that set “iHackingMaxWords” to 1 and only correct answers, but I decided to reduce “iHackingMinWords.”This adjusts the number of letter candidates. The value in vanilla is 5, but in this mod it is 2.
Since the number of candidate letters is reduced considerably, it is more likely that you will get the correct answer even if you are playing around with it.
If you get Perk, it is reduced even more, so it may be too easy.
This too can be easily adjusted in FO4Edit, so find just the right value.
