Nice for Atmo, i truely adore my XQ-42 He do not Fight, follow gently and is not spotet by Enemies, what i like most.

Rename it to other more immersive techical Names like QX-42 for example, use this MOD but edit before in a easy way with FO4E.
What you need to do first:
- Download TES4Edith 3.1.3 for Fallout4, follow the instructions, rename the exe to FO4Edit.
Then:
- Open FO4E
- search in the nameMessages.esp in: Messages for your desired Name you want to change in the new Name. (for Example: Charlie to QX-42)
- klick on the Name you wish to change
- search on the Right window the entry: "Full Name"
- klick on it & accept the warning
- edit with your desired Name . (No "spaces" allowed)
- save and use it with a smile :-)
How to Silent the Eyebot from Breathing:
I adore my little Tec Companion, but what kills the Atmo, is the breathe that you can hear even if he is a Eyebot. This is annoying, a Bot has no lounge.... So i do a little research and find out two Ways to silent him:
First Way is a bit more simple, but he silents Dogmeat too, so i would prefer the second Way, its so easy like the aboved How to rename it:
- First Way:
Create Data\Sound\Fx\Ncp\Dogmeat\ArchNeutral\ There put an empty .wav: NCP_Dogmeat_Panting_01_Neutral_LP.wav
Then the Bot is silent, but also the breath of dogmeats breathe is gone as well.
- The Second and prefered Way:
- Open FO4E
- search in Shaun.esp the Entry: NoPlayerCharakter.
- open it and klick on the right window on the entry: 01777777 as Form ID.
- there you scroll down to the entry: CSCR Inherits Sounds From
- right klick on it and remove the entry to leave as empty.
- Save esp and use it with a :-)
I adore this little Sucker. He push so much the Sci-Fi Atmo, what i adore, and he is lovely on Screenshots too.

Just to pass on what I've heard, but apparently people are saying using TESVSnip with Fallout 4 is causing some major issues, like corrupting save files.
Not sure the validity of that, but figured I'd let you know.
I'll give this a test soon. Is there a quick easy way for users to rename the Eyebot themselves, without using TES5Edit? Is there a way to implement that as an in-game option, without the CK?
No idea, I only added the follower, it will only be able to fight if a regular eyebot can. I don't know if any eyebot can fight, only if they can, will it also be able to.
They can (Pretty sure) I went psycho in Diamond City just for laughs to see all of the unarmed beat down animations and it came after me soooo, they're definitely there for security
Changing the name is not easy since the original esp already changed the name to Venison for the radstag. To change it to eyebot means I have to edit the esp, which is a little too much work for so little results. If anyone else wants to, they can do it themselves using this mod as a base and upload it.
