About this mod

Artificial Temporal Overhaul Modification (ATOM) is part of a larger mod pack being put together. This sub-mod in the pack fixes time to be 1:1 with real world time, without "breaking" weather. (So far, everything seems a-okay. Just days are much longer now, as are nights; and storms.)

You will need to start a new game for this one.

Artificial Temporal Overhaul Modification (ATOM) is part of a larger mod pack being put together. This sub-mod in the pack fixes time to be 1:1 with real world time, without "breaking" weather. (So far, everything seems a-okay. Just days are much longer now, as are nights; and storms.) If you play your game in sync with the current time always after loading a save, etc; you will always be in sync with the game time as a result. Could make for an interesting VR experience?

You will need to start a new game for this one. It absolutely requires that you go through the vault thawing. But as a result should work despite how I find that some folk complain that a 1:1 setting causes issue with time for them. I think I found why, and it has to do with a papyrus settting, I think. Or maybe not. Either or, it seems to work. So I am sharing it now.

For your purposes in using with a mod manager of any sort, or just putting in the game manually yourself, it would be wise to put this as close to the top as possible, unless any other mods are known to mess with time; then maybe put it one step below them to get it to override them on that one aspect.

I cannot guarantee compatability with any other mods right now. User be warned. (Update edte: 2025-04-07: Also, some bugs, not terrible, can be worked around; but exist I guess. Working on it.)

The other mods will be linked below later when available. I had a longer write up here, but I figure it was giving too much away too soon on some things I have yet to actually get figured out the rest of the way first. So I will simply list their future initialisms below, with their full names similar to ATOM's; plus a short description of what to expect.

(NUCLEUS)- New Universal Constants Leveling & Experience User System  (New exp and leveling system overhaul, in a big way. Common enough knowledge is that the only cap for the level in the game is that 65k number. 65,585 or something like that. I'm utilizing that. I'm also fixing things in a way where you can never crash your game by reaching max level... cause it's not reaching that crash point in the first place; without it feeling like a downgrade via less number.)

(PROTON)- Proper Respective Original Training Of Nate/Nora (Long story short, rearrangement in points allocation from the get go. You get more, but not like a lot more per se. But you can also gain a lot more... once I get a few things figured out involving some other tools other than creation kit...)

(NEUTRON)- New Effective User Tactics Reusing Origin Numbers (heh heh, onions have layers, clothing have layers. Okay, jokes aside, this is all sorts of weapon and armor and clothing changes, along with some other items involving combat. Also, possible some additional special bonuses. Consider them gifts, if you are lucky. Use them wisely. With great power comes great responsibility.)

(ELECTRON)- Economic Leverage Effectiveness Comparable To Realistic Original Numbers (So, basically economy and crafting overhaul, some new items perhaps where required to make things work, without damaging lore in a major way.)

These will be released later properly, though some links may emerge when I setup some pages with some demo files of current progress perhaps for people to try out. Betas I guess you could say. All of these have current files I could upload, but they are not 'beta' worthy yet.

John Fortis.

PS. Not lore friendly, because future time zone sub-mods for this will probably not be lore friendly considering the commonwealth per game lore doesn't have like let's say Sydney Australia's time zone typically in that part of USA. Just for example.
