Scope Menu works for 21:9 3440x1440p. I actually like not having the black box anyway. Works great for my eyes. Thank you for responding to us on this and working to make it a better experience.
Any chance you can fix or cut a new version for the beta patch (1.5) out with it's new mod system? I just spent all day unloading and re-loading mods to find out it was this one that was dumping the new mod system. If you don't do betas, I totally understand.. Gonna miss this mod though...
Got it to work... manually installed. Add the *Ultra Widescreen Patch.esp to the Plugins.txt file. Then manually deleted MainMenu.swf and HUDMenu.swf from the /Data/Interface folder. Seems to work okay.
If you follow the guide provided in the description of this mod for editing the swf files you can extract the HUDMenu.swf from the interface.bsa in the 1.5 beta release. Once the interface files are extracted open the HUDMenu.swf file with JPEXS Free Flash Decompiler. Click Header on the left and then "Edit" on the bottom of the right window. Change the Display Rect to 0 0 33,600 14,400. Hit "save" on the bottom of the right window and then click the HUDMenu.swf link on the left window and save the entire file.
Copy this newly saved file into /Data/Interface/. This worked for me on a 21:9 screen at 3440x1440 resolution, no crashes because your using the default HUDMenu.swf with a new display rect. The only things that still appears to be off are the new Survival icons, but only by about 20px on the X axis so very tolerable.
I would recommend reading the guide thoroughly as the values you need to enter into the Display Rect may be different if your screen resolution is different then the one I'm using. I'm not a modder and just stumbled upon the solution by playing around, hope it helps someone.

I am having 2 issues. Not sure if its new version as this is the first one I tried. 1x 3440x 1440 monitor
1) on borderless the screen is too big and shifted to the right by about a third of the screen. Windowed its fine other than annoying bar up top. 2) all the places where menus have green background etc, the green is shifted over to the right compared to where the menu is sitting. Also, compass similarly is slightly off I think.
Any thoughts?
Thanks. BTW, I think the mod is great. Even with these minor issues, beats the pants off playing at 1080 on an ultrawide monitor. Thanks for all the hard work.
Carries the same issue as all other ultrawide fixes for fo4. Since a somewhat recent update, ButtonBarMenu.swf WILL crash your game if you are not playing in fullscreen mode. Removing the file from the Fallout 4\Data\interface folder will solve the startup crash but you will get a stretched button bar menu, per default. Should anyone know of a fix, please, do share.
I followed the instructions and changed all the ini settings but it just crashed the game before i even get to the main menu. Kinda disappointing. none of the other ultra widescreen fixes seem to work either.
Same here. It just started happening today. I honestly don't know what changed. It was working just fine a day ago. I did update my nvidia drivers but I've already tried rolling them back and nothing -- still crashes.
Good day, johndoebowler. I want to do a similar version of this mod for 1.9.4 version but using HUDFramework since help to merge different UI mods more easily. But since i'm a noob on this i will like to know if i can use your files as a reference for it, or there is some licensing issue with it?. there's no license inidcated in the description.
This isn't working. I'm playing on an Asus PG348Q monitor and no matter what I do the menus are all messed up still everywhere. Please let me know how to fix the game for play with 3440x1440.

Re-patched all swf files with the new versions. Should be all relevant fixes, let me know if I missed any!
Also patched the Scope menu differently, should be more compatible with 21:9 resolutions other than 2560x1080, but I can't properly test.

Installing that works, no more crashes, cheers.
I have 3x 24" BenQ monitor's. 2x760's SLI, i5, 4670k @ 4.2ghz water cooled, 32gb ddr3/2400/xmp.
Long story short.
Span, 3x monitor, 5760x1080.
Do you have this, or is this functionally possible?
Obviously I expect performance hogs, and will have to drop my settings, but can this be made to actually visually work, and FOV correctly?
Looking forward to your response.
