Since I am back for the moment figured I'd touch this mod too. Previously this mod was built around Frost and was a supplementary way to play it, but I have since moved away from that. I am not playing Frost so.

Quick TLDR before you read: This mod makes major use of Glowing Mushrooms and Brain Fungus, among other things, utilizing them as tools, food, and ingredients. They can be planted in settlements, eaten, farmed, and they also feed settlers, if barely at all. They are NOT like they were in vanilla. I recommend not eating them raw.

This mod is still a WIP.

Overview of currently added items and super quick summary:

Nirnroots are now useful, very actually. Can be farmed and utilized. Edible. Nutritious.

Brain Fungus is now caffeinated and is used for.. brain.. stuff, among being a normal ingredient. Farmable. Edible, kind of.

Glowing Mushrooms are now a main ingredient in most if not all of the new items added. Farmable. Edible, kind of.

Cave Fungus is in the same boat as Glowing Mushrooms, but not farmable or plantable. Slightly better than Glowing Mushrooms, if better is the right word.

Brain Spice Brew is Brain Fungus + Vodka: Regen Health and lose Rads, caffeinated.

Brain Sweet Brew is Brain Fungus + Whiskey: Slows time for a few seconds, gain some Rads but regen 5% of your limb Health, caffeinated.

Brainstorm is Brain Fungus + Jet: Slows time and speeds you up. Gain Rad resist and Perception.

Glowing Fungal Blood Pack: Gain heavy Rad resist but gain a moderate amount of Rads. Slow time and move much faster. Gain Strength and Perception. Much faster AP regen. Long lasting.

Regrowth Fungal Blood Pack: Regens Health and gives Health + AP regen for a long time. Slight damage resist for duration.

May buff.

Fungal Paste: Major ingredient as well as food. As valuable as it is pathetic. Valueless and weightless, but can be cheaply made and eaten, not very great at filling hunger but it works. Used in most new items. Crafted from various fungi of your choice. Regen tiny Health over time and lose a decent amount of Rads over a few seconds as well.

May nerf.

Fungal Water: Fungal Paste + Dirty Water. Hydrates as well as reduces your Rads by a lot over a few minutes. Gives a few Rads when drank but will quickly be lost over the duration. Caffeinated. Regens a tiny bit of Health over time.

May nerf.

Refreshing Beverage: Regen Health over time. Lose a lot of Rads almost instantly. Damages for a few Health but is quickly regenerated. Kills Parasites and is caffeinated. Basically fungi + cough medicine and vodka with smelling salts.

Then finally the Fungal Effigy, back and better than ever. Actually working this time.

The Fungal Effigy is a misc item that gives stacking bonuses depending on how many you have, capping out at 50. It is meant to be a bunch of mushrooms on crack basically that you carry with you and give symbiotic bonuses.

Each one weighs 1lb, but will slowly regen your Health and eat your Rads, as well as give a resistance to Rads both externally and internally, give a slight AP bump, and give a slight poison resist.

The effect starts at 1 effigy, then 3, then 7, then 12, then 17, then 25, then 50.

Bonuses do not scale past 25, however the bonuses below come to fruition.

After 25 you gain a 25% resistance to Rads and Poison.
After 50 you gain a 50% resistance to Rads and Poison.

Fungi also now drop variable amounts, starting at 1 up to like 3. Need 3 to plant in a settlement.

All are found under the "Fungal" section in a cooking bench. I will be adding to this mod in the future for sure.
