This mod uses an F4SE plugin to manipulate the game code, making hacking and lockpicking instantly successful. Since only the success of the unlocking is altered, companions will still react to these actions as usual. Since the mod only includes a DLL file, there are no issues with installing or removing the mod during gameplay.
This mod does not work with the Next-Gen version of the game.
Version 1.1 Update:
A config file has been added to limit hacking and lockpicking to the player’s acquired perks. The instructions are provided at the bottom of this page.
When the mod is installed, hacking can be attempted on any lock, regardless of difficulty. 'Inaccessible' locks cannot be unlocked. In the hacking screen, simply selecting any string will immediately result in a successful hack.
Lockpicking works similarly—if the lock isn’t marked as inaccessible, you can attempt to unlock it, and once you select, the lock will be immediately picked.
After testing, I thought the default behavior of doors and containers automatically opening when unlocked was awkward, so now they will unlock without automatically opening.

If you think unlocking everything by default provides too many advantages, you can keep the auto-unlock process but restrict the unlock attempts based on the player's perks, just like in vanilla. As shown in the screenshot above, locate and open the InstantHackingAndLockpicking.ini file in the mod folder. Then, follow the comments and enter either 0 or 1. The default value is 1, which unlocks without any restrictions.
