Fixes those awful world map and globe textures to be lore-friendly. Seas are no longer colored as land, and Canada is properly annexed, among other things.

The textures Bethesda used for the world map in Fort Hagen and the Switchboard, as well as for the various junk globes, are so poorly made and low-effort that it's ridiculous. Multiple seas and straits are colored as if they were land, not to mention the modern-day borders that supposedly represent a world in which the United States annexed Canada and the Soviet Union still exists.
You can tell whoever was making it took a pre-2006 world map (before Serbia and Montenegro split, either Bethesda had this texture lying around for a decade prior or whoever made it is a Serbian nationalist), cropped out a single magic wand tool selection of the ocean without any further work and called it a day. So I decided to fix that, adding some flavor and letting you wonder what the hell the pre-war world must've looked like.
Mainly, I fixed all the bodies of water and adjusted national borders to be lore-accurate or at least plausible with some creative liberties:

Fixed bodies of water
- Mediterranean Sea, Black Sea, Red Sea, Persian Gulf, Caspian Sea, White Sea, Baltic Sea, Gulf of Mannar, Strait of Malacca, the various seas within the Philippines, Northwest Passages, St. Lawrence River Estuary, the Great Lakes, northern Gulf of California, Lake Maracaibo (they sure missed a lot!)
United States includes Canada, southern Mexico, and the Panama Canal
- Hawaii is now present
- From the American invasion of Mexico, the US controls the three states in which Petró-Chico was present, plus the Yucatán Peninsula
- Donald Trump approves
Former European Commonwealth split into several small nation-states during the Resource Wars
- Not explicitly mentioned whether Europe reverted to the borders as we know them now, only that they quarreled amongst each other
- That being said, now Catalonia, the Basque Country, Occitania, Brittany, and Venice are independent, Luxembourg is split amongst its neighbors, and Austria controls South Tyrol
- Looks like a late-game HOI4 save without historical AI, as God intended
The Soviet Union remains united
- Warsaw Pact nations (including East Germany) probably could've been annexed as well, so they're part of the USSR
- Dissolution of Czechoslovakia is... very tenuously... implied to have happened in the Fallout universe (Czech coat of arms on a prop ammo box in the TV show)
China includes Mongolia, North Korea, Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia
- Chairman Cheng now has the Mandate of Heaven
- This answers Hank's question to Kahn, "are you Chinese or Japanese?"
Yugoslavia remains mostly united
- Albania is irredentist now and controls Kosovo so Balkaners can fight in the comments
Everything else is a hodgepodge of various past, present, and future unions or territorial disputes.
