Please report bugs in the bug section above as it's easier for me to see them there and keep track of the ones that are fixed.
Compatibility issues with other mods that make changes to these items are not bugs and will exist as stated in the Compatibility section under the description. Don't report these as bugs instead try to change around your load order to chose what mod you want to give priority.
Please read the FAQ section in the description before asking questions.
Although it's not by mod author, it kinda works. You're going to see a lot of the dlc stuff not work, even with the "patch" I had a lot of entries THAT SHOULD BE sorted but aren't, like the aids and misc sections if you group food and/or chems or many of the stuff introduced by the DLCs (FarHarbor & Nuka World) wont get sorted or grouped. Maybe it seems like you have to do it manually.
I also didn't realize it's a pretty old mod that hasn't received updates in a while, a long while. I have found an alternative you may like even more and it seems it's the new go-to these days. FallUI Pop that into your search bar, and list by downloads you'll have all the stuff necessary for a cleaner and better sorted ui with some extras. So for me minimally FallUI-Inventory(this is the main file), FallUI-HUD, FIS (The item sorter that you'd be replacing this mod with). Besides that all the other stuff associated with FallUI, the "addons" so to speak are also great.
I was able to switch mid-game w/o any noticeable problems I had DEF_UI & DEF_INV with BIS and the patches I mentioned, full disclosure I might have been me that didn't install the "patch" properly and thus why it didn't work for me. The patch is mentioned in the description page under the requirements category as a mod needing this one...
Have fun.
A lot of mods have been abandoned because of the whole "nexodus" thing where a lot of people didn't like the new policies, maybe if you do some googling there is a BIS that's updated to the latest game version but probably hosted in another website.
Does the Default tag all items or do we still need to select the customized items? Install description was not clear on this. And it allows you to check all the boxes with default, but still unsure if i should check them all or just default will do.
Sadly this mod is breaking ammo weight(by setting it to 0 for survival), and who know what else. For example Nuka cola no longer reduce needs fro sleep.

This mod sets ammo weight to 0 and has "LOOKUP FAILED" for some inventory items. Needs an update.
