I DON'T KNOW ENGLISH WELL, SORRY FOR THAT.

I base my mods on Qrsr's Dark Commonwealth mod, that's why they are the way they are.
Mods are overhauled vanilla files. They are not things made from scratch with precision and care, they are things created using a hammer with total amateurism. I like the vanilla style and therefore I want to capture the vanilla feeling.
I don't have time (real life consequences), so I probably won't answer questions like "how to install a mod" or "why is a mod the way it is"... I'll probably not answer anything at all. Mods are what they are - "take it or leave it".
There are smarter people than me out there in the Nexus universe, if they think I've done something wrong, please tell me what it is and how to correct it.

ZP's Frost and Shock: 
The mod redoes shock and frost effects plus some little things like a spark when hitting metal. The mod also treats the teleport effect, cryo and pulse grenade explosions. This took me longer than I thought because of:
THE PROBLEM:
There is one thing that was bugging me, but since I ruled everything out and it appears in vanilla, it's probably a mesh problem. 1 type of lousy particle has a very faintly visible square around it, no, it's not alpha chanell, because I replaced that texture with a texture that didn't have problems and the square was there. It would be good if someone could fix it, I'm not capable of that.

You won't see it during the game, I noticed it only during the test where I stop the animations in the game and look at everything closely.
ZP's Fire and Smoke and ZP's Frost and Shock share some textures, it doesn't matter which mod overrides which.
I even have one texture in ZP's Storm - lightning.
Lightning - I've tried all kinds of lightning, but the system is set for the way they are in the game, anything realistic looks bad.

I'm praying to Atom that it all works as it should, because I haven't tested everything - there's a lot in the game. If I saw correctly, CC content also uses these textures. Therefore, if you see something off, please report it.

23/10/2024 UPDATE - fixed teleport artefact and uploaded versions without gradient textures (possible compatibility with other mods) - there is a visible but small difference, choose the one you want.
26/10/2024 UPDATE - small update for the Institute reactor - see pictures. This texture is PlasmaTile_d.DDS which will also affect the plasma. You can download it, you don't have to, it's up to you. While testing my cubemaps I discover other things, so...

Compatibility:
The mod comes in two variants - ba2 and loose, CHOOSE ONLY ONE.
The mod overwrites several VANILLA files in the Textures library. For more information, click on Preview file contents in the Files section - loose variant.
