Refreshing the Pip-Boy
Every so often something may go wrong with your game and leave you with an invisible or missing Pip-Boy. This mod fixes that problem by refreshing the Pip-Boy each time you load a save.
It works by running a quest on startup that clears your inventory of any existing bonked or duplicated pip-boys, then adding 1 pip-boy back to the inventory and re-equipping it.
How to use:
Install and forget. Simply use Vortex, or extract the archive to your main game directory. The process takes place automatically when you load your save.
Optionally, if you find your Pip-Boy missing mid session, you can enter "bat pipboy" in the console to run the process manually. This operates separately from the mod.
(this is intended for those who have a chronic pip-boy disappearance issue with their preferred load order, but it can be used one-off)
