Just a reminder I will not be providing support or visiting/replying to comments on this page, because it's easier for me to manage all my mods from a single website, one that also happens to have a mini-wiki that will answer many basic questions for you.
Wiki for TFTC
Here you will find info on quests and companions as well as random NPC encounters. It is also recommended you play the Fallout 3 Mods (bundle download from the header) for additional backstory on NPCs, in particular companions Audrey and R4-04.
The Built-In Quest/Location Finder:
You don't need to rely on the wiki, however, or random chance. There is an easy way to find many of the quests and locations in the mod (although not all of them). It's by completing the short, You've Got Mail quest by visiting the post office in Nahant. The reward you get for completing it will put many other locations on your map.
Bug Report, Troubleshooting, and General Help Section
Any bug reports or troubleshooting questions should be searched for before being asked. If your question is new or you can't find an appropriate answer in the database (or the wiki) then feel free to ask a new one. I will get an email notification and answer within 24 hours.
Notes on Atomic Radio:
I had to take down the file with custom music, will upload a safe version with only vanilla music, to add your custom tracks, you'll need to enable loose files and add tracks 01.wav, 02.wav, all the way to 44.wav (or 01.xwm if WAV isn't working for you) to this folder:
Data\Sound\fx\mus\radio\atomicradio\FM\
***If you want to download the version with custom music added, you have to go to, you guessed it, http://3dnpc.com.***
Twitter:
If you like, you can follow me on twitter here. Nothing to do with mods though. I'll also be posting some trailers and content on my Patreon page.
1. Companions, especially romancable companions, should have an option to send to a settlement of choice instead of returning to where they were found. This doesn't make sense, especially for one in particular, whom it feels like you're abandoning the person for no reason.
2. With all the effort into creating interesting places and NPCs, it is a shame they have nothing to give to the player, not even a simple fetch mission. For example, in Amelia’s Espresso, the player could have to get up on stage and have to perform in some way to get a positive response from the audience to get information to move forward on a mission.
3. I still cannot get Birdie to start his quest. There needs to be a specific action to launch this mission.
4. Spoiler Ahead: There are many times where you abandon children, which is hard to swallow when playing a "good" person, but in Love in Peace, you have a choice to save the settlers or save Moonbeam, who then goes off to wander the commonwealth in pajamas! There should have been an option to send the kid to a settlement or adopt them like you do with Shawn. Just to preserve the integrity of the character and the immersion of the game, I had to restart the quest and save the settlers and realize I ran out of time to save the kid. But even if you kill all but one of the raiders and beat that one up to within an inch of his life, and then run off to save Moonbeam, you can save the kid but that one crippled raider will kill all of the armed settlers. Okay? I know this was going for a Sophie's Choice type of scenario, but it felt too artificial.
5. Attention to detail: Sometimes there will be no quest markers or a quest marker to a place where you can't get to and has no point. There are doors that are just pictures on a wall that can't be opened, and no interaction.
6. Please stop with the commentary about how much stuff the player is carrying. This gets so old. If you need to give NPCs something to say, try giving it to the children who mostly just stand silently staring like the Village of the Damned. And did you know there is a settlement run by robots? Yeah, I heard it the first 500 times it was said to me. I would rather the NPCs just say, "Hi" or even "Huh?".
Been travelling with her for ages, months in game, weeks irl.... and there just are NOT enough terminals to hack, synths to rescue, or people to rescue and share items with, for it get there.
I adore her, her VA is amazing, and the voice itself enthralling, and the character interesting, with a great personal quest, and secret mission..... but I just have too many companions for such a weak like/love list.
I personally think ALL companions should ALWAYS have at least ONE like/love that is dead easy: Smoking, killing raiders, chems, drinking, sleeping, etc etc....because I am not dedicating massive chunk of my playthrough to her, when I have 17 other companions, between vanilla, and mods, to get perks from.
So if someone could tell me how to use console to max her affinity that would be great.
For example, like I'm sure you're aware... I can manually change Valkyrie's (mod) Piper or Cait's (vanilla)... I couldn't change Ivy's. Nor would I try for Ivy anyhow... that mod is probably the largest NPC mod out there and you don't want to rush that one anyways. Not sure if you can tweak Heather.. .but then again, another mod you really want it to play out naturally.
But how do I set it?

I just take it as Mara being besotted with me, Birdie feeling like he finally has a friend, and GhoulyMcGhoulface desperately trying to be relevant, even though she is not.. and smells :P
Also, try this: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/53726
It is probably better she is left like that.... she will live forever, locked in her loop.... not a bad way to survive the Commonwealth.
I picked all the glowing stuff and deactivated the radio already. But no matter how much I hit the large light it won't go out.
I just watched this one - at 10:07 dude literally just shoots out both lights. Doesn't explain why some users of the mod are unable to shoot out one of the lights.
I also used the search function (it's back up now), and there are just a bunch of posts of other users having the same issue, and no answers or suggestions for how to fix. With so many people having this issue and no support from the author to help users, this is gonna be a hard pass for me.
Tales is totally different from Interesting NPCs.
