YOU SHALL PASS - Simple workshop mod that lets you go places. Like, rooftops. But also underground or through solid walls. Even dig into hillside terrain.

Workshop constructible Access Hatch, allows you to literally climb through the roof.
Easily access previously hard to get to rooftops. No need for a stairwell, just go straight up.

You put The Access Hatch (128 Units) inside Red Rocket:

And when you use the hatch to climb on the rooftop, it then looks like this:

The Access Hatch is one workshop buildable piece.
You activate it from below - You move up. You activate it from above, you move down.
Understand now?

SO WHAT'S IN IT THEN AND WHERE?
- There's a whole bunch of different hatch lengths: 16, 32, 48, 64, 96, 128, 256 Units.
- Select one depending on how thick a roof or upper floor you need to pass through, or how deep underground u wanna go.
- There is a snappable ladder extension piece for the hatches.
- Also door and tunnel pieces: 32, 48, 64, 128, 256, 1024 and 2048 Units length.
- Use those to pass through walls or to dig into hillside terrain.
- All the pieces are in the STRUCTURES/CONCRETE/MISC build menu.

ANYTHING TO KEEP IN MIND?
- Hatches do not have a load screen.
- Tunnels and Doors have a load screen, simply because of an engine level problem.
- This bug prevents your char from jumping, but only seems to trigger when there is cell water close by the tunnel/door.
- Tunnels and door pieces therefore operate in "SafeMode" by default.
- SafeMode works around the cell water bug, at the cost of introducing said load screen.
- To disable SafeMode for a particular piece that you trust or know is not going to be affected by said bug, select the Tunnel/Door in console and type:
setpv SafeMode false
- This disables SafeMode for the selected piece and there won't be a loadscreen anymore.
- Using true instead of false will reenable SafeMode on it.
- If you get affected by the bug while experimenting, simply pass through a SafeMode enabled door or tunnel to fix it.

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!
- The hatches auto-place on workshop roofs and upper floors. Place them from below while buildiing.
- Place Everywhere highly recommended for use on non-workshop structures like the Red Rocket building.
- NPC can theoretically use these hatches, doors and tunnels - but not for navigation/pathing anyway.
- If you have follower NPC with you, they will be ported along with you though as you use the hatch/door/tunnel.
- The whole concept works kinda well with my Vertibird Landing Pad mod here, if you like Vertibird Fast Travel.
- You can also Go underground with The Access Hatch. Build a cellar. Or a bunker. Or an underground power plant.
- This mod is fully compatible with Transfer Settlements.
