This is how to remove the glow from the pipboy when the flashlight is on.
I'm just doing a tutorial as each pip boy mod that changes the pip boy will have a different file that needs changing.
This makes it easier to apply to whatever set up you have.
Firstly you will need Nifskope - https://github.com/niftools/nifskope/releases
-
Once you have this extract it somewhere you can run it.
Open nifskope
Open a file explorer window and go to your Fallout 4 install to Data\Meshes\pipboy\characterassets\
Within this folder you want to edit Pipboy.nif and PipboyLowPlayer.nif (Make a backup copy first)
Drag one of the files into nifskope on the right hand side and it should import or use File > Open in nifskope and navigate to the above to open the file.
Once opened navigate to the bottom left to 'Strings' open this tree up and find the string that says 'ScreenGlowEffect01:0'
Delete this value then save the file and you are done.
