Update - 18.06.16

Small addition - I've even decided to upload v.2.1 today, just few hours after 2.0.
While working on prewar dresses replacement update, I've found a way to make recolors without standalone nif meshes - through material swatching in esp. So, I've remade v.2.0: now you'll have only one nif for all the 3 recolors. Moreover, bodyslide files quantity is decreased too: one nif or three?)
If you want to use Prewar dresses replacement pack, you'll have to download v.2.1 cause they are sharing material swatching. If not, you may calmly stay with v.2.0: v. 2.1. has nothing more then files quantity decreasing.

1. CBBE add-on.
Yes, I've made it :) But not with Outfit Studio: I simply digged in Bodyslide Tools files and found a way, how to change and merge vanilla meshes' CBBE versions, made by CBBE team. Using Notepad++ and Nifscope for meshes names. Cause my dress consists of two vanilla meshes, it worked :)
To install, simply download CBBE add-on and let NMM rewrite nifs. Don't forget to install CBBE itself, of course, and batch-build your outfits :)
As this convertation is a copy of convertations of vanilla items by CBBE team, some "very-very-big-boobs-and-butts" may cause small "holes" in dress. Repair it through Outfit Studio cause I couldn't make friends with it :)

2. All recolors in one esp.
I've merged them to free your load order a bit. IDs could change, so you may have to redress your characters. Sorry :)

3. AE and AWKCR support.
Yes, I've dealt with it to, thanks to tutorial by Gambit77 :)
Now my dress
requires AE and AWKCR installed. You can craft all three colors (AWKCR bench, Outfits-Dresses). It costs 8 cloth.
Moreover, now any armor can be put on the dress (like in every AE outfit), plus it now has lining, legendary and add-on slots in addition to railroad lining. Look at screen in screens section :)

4. New normals and speculars.
I've slightly changed them. More detailed and light reflecting look :) See at screen in screens section.

Update - 19.01.16

1. added 2 recolors of dress - black&pink + black&yellow.
You may have them separately or with main color. If you install 2 or all 3 archives together, NMM will warn about dublicated files - don't worry, they are identical normal and specular maps I've added to all archives to make recolors independent from the main file.So agree to change anything NMM wants.
Don't forget to type "help abstract 4" - new recolors are standalone too and called "Abstract Dress Pink and Abstract Dress Yellow.. yeah, cap is here :)

2. Added small pack to replace green laundered dress with my main abstract version.
Install as usual, but it will require main file. Other two prewar dresses will be replaced too.

Hi, guys :)

First of all, yes: this is my first mod for Fallout 4 and yes - before this I was making only houses and simple textures for The Sims games. So, I introduced myself to NifSkope and Material Editor only one week ago and to FO4 Edit - yesterday :)
Actually, the only useful skill I have is some Photoshopping, but.. ok, I know a lot of people doing it much better :)

But.. we are not afraid of difficulties. I really like ingame red and sequine dresses, but.. they both, imho, lack something. So, I decided to google and try to combine them with a bit of retexturing. Firstly I wanted to make a semi-transparent parts, but faced some difficulties and had to come another way.

At once I wanted to say thanks to authors of fantastic mods I'm using ingame and on screens, of course. Ok, I hope I'll remember all.. we have too many perfect modders :-p

So, how final dress looks:

Actually I've added two "semi-transparent".. ok, let's be honest, lace parts to scarf and skirt. They look pretty normal in different lightning conditions and even better closely.

These are close views. Hope, you'll like them in game :)

Old info (v.1.1):
Spoiler:
Show

Now there is a time for WARNINGS.

1. As I've mentioned, I'm not a modder at all. Of course, I've painted a textures and pointed different ticks in material editor to see what could happen with final look, but.. I'm only beginner. Really sorry, I'll try to deal with it as far as I can :)

2. That's why I still can't add the dress to:
- vendors,
- armorsmith extended,
-chemlab,
- CBBE,
add armor mods to it and so on. Please, be patient: I can read google very fast, I promise :) At least, I could make it standalone!)

To find dress in game, write in console: help abstract 4, read ID the console gives and type player.additem ID.

That's why at the moment this dress fully copy the stats of red and sequin dresses:
- it can be added with Railroad lining mod as any other clothing;
- you can wear only hands, glasses, bandanas, rings and helms with it.

And at last... sometimes men want to be pretty too :)

Handsome Danse, isn't he ?)

At the screens you also could see:

Nuclear Nude skinPonytail VariationsBustyBlack Pipboy on my girl, Danse wears The Crimson Shroud and they both used some poses from Pose Anyway pack. Guys, if you see there something I forgot to mention, please, inform - I really want to say thanks to all these people :)

Install mod through NMM (I hope I've packed it correctly), as usual, or merge the contents of the Data folder from the archive with your Fallout 4\Data. To uninstall manually, simply remove from your Data/Meshes, Data/Materials and Data/Textures all the folders Clothing/Abstract Dress, aso delete AbstractDress esp file.

I don't think I'll make other retextures in the near future cause firstly have to finally crush NifSkope, FO4edit and other utilites :)

Yeah, this outfit was made with:
Nifskope
FO4edit
Material editor
BAExtractor.

Also I wanted to thank Ilordg for this guide: it really helped a lot.
