The Shishkebab, while arguably one of the coolest looking weapons in the game, unfortunately suffers from a distinct lack of damage, hamstringing you if you choose to use it in the mid-late stages of Fallout 4. This is a very simple mod that increases the damage of the Shishkebab to make it a more practical choice.

The mod is not designed to make the Shishkebab overpowered, but simply to make its (upgraded) damage comparable to an upgraded Chinese Officer Sword, as shown in the pics. The first pic is the damage of an un-upgraded Shishkebab with this mod (on a character with no perks, 1 Strength, etc). The second and third pics show the damage of the Shishkebab with Extra Flame Jets with this mod as compared to a Chinese Officer Sword with an Electrified Serrated Blade (the two latter pics are from a character with higher strength, perks, etc).


The mod can be installed with NMM. To do it manually instead, just unzip the .esp from the .rar archive and and put it in your Fallout 4 "[Installation path]\Data" folder. If using Steam, for example, this path may be:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout 4\Data\
