Installing this so my brotherhood character who is very anti-mutant (based on the imperium and specifically the mechanicum) can get rid of the ghoul family
Please fix this mod, you added child enemies more than adult enemies, most of the time I'm killing large groups of kids armed with missle launchers and its really kills my immersion. You should have raider/synth children as a rare chance. I mostly want to kill the girl selling papers in diamond city. But now I have to fight 8 missle armed synth children >:(
For anyone wanting to fix the height bug for this mod it is an easy fix that anyone with FO4edit can do, here is the tutorial:
1. First open up FO4edit and check mark the DD_Wasteland_Children_done_right.esp
2. Then open up the DD_Wasteland_Children_done_right.esp tree and open up the race tree
3. You will see two child races, HumanChildRace and GhoulChildRace
4. Open up Human Child Race and in the editing window right click and select the option Hide No Conflict Rows. This will show us the conflicting rows that are causing this bug.
5. Once you do that you will see a whole lot of errors showing for the gore effects. We will fix this later, right now I want us to focus on the DATA - data tab.
6. Under this tab edit the male height and female height values from 1.000000 to 0.825000. This will fix the height bug indefinitely. Don't forget to apply these fixes to the GhoulChildRace tree as well.

Extra steps to fix gore:
If you want the gore effects to function properly, you will have to get rid of all of the lines that say <Error. Expected 4 bytes of data. If you don't like gore or just don't care it is fine, it won't cause the game to crash.
1. First find the first line that says "Pipboy Biped Object"
2. Start from this line and correct the values with the default values from fallout4.esm until you get to the end of the DATA - data tab. Make sure to set the values for Severable - Decal Count and Explodable - Decal Count to 5 so that the limbs are severable on the child model. Because by default these values are at 0, which means no severable limbs. Don't forget to apply these fixes to the GhoulChildRace tree as well.
That's it, you are done! Hopefully the mod author will put this little fix in an update so that we don't have to fiddle with FO4edit to get it to work all the time.
To kregg: Yep, its good to see that it was this simple to fix. I was surprised by all of the errors for the gore settings, because by default these settings are already set. The author must have accidentally deleted the values. Fallout 4 is a relatively easy game to mod because of all the tools released for it. Not to mention the Nexus Mod Manager makes installing mods a breeze.
To Mortadella: Wow, didn't realize the author was banned. Sure here you go, enjoy reality at its finest
The rar file has the same name because renaming rars can screw up installation in Nexus Mod Manager when it tries to look up download ids. Enjoy!
Just in case you didn't know, I am trying to get most of the Player home buildings that require DLCs working. So far I have gotten these to work, just read my posts for a tutorial if you're interested:

Also if anyone knows how to get these two mods compatible, just tell me here. I have been trying to get the new standalone dog companion Shadow to work with the new animations from the Pet - Call Dogmeat mod. Here is my post from here: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15565/?tab=4&&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Ffallout4%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D15565%26page%3D1%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D4597645&pUp=1
"Hi, I was trying to make this mod compatible with the Shadow the Dark Husky Standalone Companion mod. I have gotten far enough to where petting works and I made separate toys and leashes for Shadow. But one thing I cannot figure out is that it keeps telling me that Shadow is too far away whenever I try to feed Shadow treats. Shadow will not take the treat.
I can't seem to find the command or function that checks for Shadows position like it does for Dogmeat. I have noticed that it says I am too far away when I am petting Shadow, even though I am right by him. But the petting works and the animation plays just fine. Just so you know guys I copied all of the code from this mod and edited it in FO4edit in order to make it compatible. I just don't know how to make the mod feed treats to Shadow, I have tried everything!
So for anyone willing to help me out, here are the required files:

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!"
It seems the mod author is away at the moment. So if anyone has some tips on how to get it working it would be a great help.
Personally, it's not that I would kill them. But I'll watch them die in action and then feel sad so that is pretty immersive. Kids should not attack the player unless they are attacked by, though. Teenager raiders might just make it unplayable for me .D

Good job with the gore settings too, I wasn't sure if those edits were necessary for the mod to function properly.
Kudos!

I tried following your instructions to fix it in xEdit. After I did the game kept crashing in a certain area.
Redid the edits, seems stable now. Hopefully it stays that way.
