Reactor ENB patch for excessively bright WestTek Optics on Next Gen

What this mod does:
- Patches all WestTek Optics modes to reduce excessive brightness when used with Reactor ENB on Next Gen
- Prevents low mode optics from being blinding during the day
- Somewhat attempts to match Night Vision Color saturation rather than with stock
- Includes an optional White Phosphor patch inspired by White Phosphor NVG - West Tek Tactical Optics Addon
- Increases Color saturation when using Night Person Perk Vanilla (some mods use this perk to display night vision such as the Courser X-92 and are impacted accordingly)
- Reduces Bloom on Thermal so Dogmeat doesn't blind you
- Makes Thermal usable during the day
When to Use It:
- Apparently Night Eye Amplifier doesn't work in Next Gen. If Night Eye Amplifier works for you, then use the patches provided on Reactor ENB Instead.
- You are blinded when using WestTek Optics and everything is white during the day when activating night vision
Status:
- [Complete] Night Lvl 1 - I don't plan to make changes
- [Complete] Night Lvl 2 - I don't plan to make changes
- [Complete] Night Lvl 3 - I don't plan to make changes
- [Working] Thermal Lvl 1 - I'm not happy with how much color you can see when this is normally close to mono chromatic
- [Working] Thermal Lvl 2 - Same as above but even worse, you can see most colors. I just wanted to play the game instead of getting it perfect.
- [Might be Removed] Night Person Perk Lvl 1 - I added this not realizing it was Reactor ENB patch that was breaking it. The only thing it does it increase saturation which is kind of the opposite of what you would want when implementing night vision (Low light vision uses Rods instead of cones and cannot distinguish colors, so it would make sense that it would have less saturation.) -- Its working but I'm not convinced I should keep it.
Install:
- Drop in mod folder or use a Mod Manager
- In Game: In ENB Set ENB Effect Image Space Control Bloom switch x y to True (checked) for Exterior and Interior so the thermal vision bloom at night isn't too bright
Uninstall:
- Doesn't affect save, can be disabled or uninstalled any time.
This is my first mod, I literally had no idea what I was doing and just wanted it to work as I couldn't find an alternative solution. If you know this isn't necessary and have a better alternative feel free to share.
