This mod adds new "Happiness Emitters" to the settlement workshop, that boost happiness by a large amount. They can be crafted using the same materials as a radio recruitment beacon, and then simply need to be wired and switched on. They're found under Resources > Misc while in the workshop menu.
Specifically, they add +69 Happiness to the settlement when powered, because I'm a pervert comedy genius. The plugin is also ESL flagged.
(P.S. Want something equally simple but that's Vanilla+? Radios Give Happiness adds a Happiness bonus to radios on par with the vanilla settlement objects.)
Compatibility
It should be compatible with anything and everything. No edits were made to vanilla content. It specifically uses vanilla keywords to add it under the Resources > Misc menu category. I believe that too many mods add custom categories when they don't need it, and unnecessary patching is a huge pet peeve of mine.
Install & Uninstall
To install, drop the plugin into the data folder to do so manually, or install it with your mod manager like usual.
To uninstall, you can delete it from your data folder if you installed it manually, or delete it from your mod manager.
Safe to add for your save files at any time. Scrap any Happiness Emitters before uninstalling as a precaution.
