This mod allows you to play as a ghoul, the real deal, no pretend, the real good deal, or atleast as authentic as it possible.
Now fully revamped and custom armor, hair and eyes compadible!

----Description------
This mod allows you to play as a ghoul. Have you ever wanted to play as a ghoul just
like you did in Fallout 3 and New Vegas? Well look no further, as this mod offers just
that!
As of the Creation Kit Release, and after a very careful consideration, i revived, fixed and
revamped the whole mod to work alot better!
Now if you stumble upon any bugs worth noting down that i missed, please do let me
know in the comment section.

The actual Ghoul race

--Requirements----
In order to change the facials and pretty mcuh everything on your character, you
need the LooksMenu mod, as selecting the parts on the face manualy via the mouse wont work.
I have no clue on how to fix that but trust me, that mod will be essential and it
is really easy to use.

You jsut extract and activate.
Once you got that and my mod installed and active, you are good to go.

----Install instructions----
Firstly, for the love of every deity that whoever you worship, delete the old
Playable Ghouls esp file. Since this is a compelte rewamp of the mod, the filename is
different and alot has been changed.
Then simply just drop the RewampedGhuols.esp file, activate it and you are good to go.
Keep in mind that if you want to play as a human again, disable the mod. There is no actual
race selection screen.....yet.
I honestly dont know about your older saves, but it sould be safe to upgrade, but i recommend that
you start from the beginning to make sure that the game wont crash.
The old way of isntallation is not needed anymore, unless if you are a masochist and
uses the older versions of my mod. I keep the older ones for archival purposes.
----Q&A----
Q: So this is the real deal? Why not just open up the console and do yourself? Anyone can do that.
A: In theory, yes, but it is not as simple as you may think. Changing race with console command
might give you the race flag, radiation immunity and all that, but you dont get teh facial structure
at all, nor would it even work properly. It even crashes the game in certain parts of the game.
This mod fixes that.
Q: I have an existing character and i like to change my character into a ghoul, is that possible?
A: Why yes you can! You just need to activate the mod like normal. But you also need this mod to change

This mod adds a mirror so you can change your appearance.
Install those 2 mods and type into the console player.setrace ghoul
then select a different preset, then selct preset 1 again, and there you go!

Q: I cant change my character's facials at all, i cant select any face parts aside from the eyes.
A: That is normal, i never really understod why that happens, but that is easly fixable with the use of
the LooksMenu mod (Check above for download link)
Q: I get the facial structure of a ghoul, but it still uses human textures. What am i doing wrong?
A: In order for me to make this mod possible, i had to change the Nate and Nora characters to Ghouls.
Any mod that changes them will affect them. In order to fix this problem, you need to fiddle with theload order,
such as placing my mod at the very bottom to ensure that my mod will work.
Q: The textures of my ghoul is all wierd with armors and clothing. Isnt this CBBE compadible?

A: Woah easy there. The ghoul race never was made to playable so many
of the armors and stuff doesnt work so good. But a kind modder named NickCageForever made

Q: Is this compadible with alternative start mods and save files from other players?
A: That really depends. For alternative start mods, then yes, as long as Nate and Nora are unaffected.
Save files however, i dont think, but i havent tried it myself, but i would recommend that you start a new
save for your ghoul character.
Q: Why did you make this mod?
A: To put it simply, i went and searched high and low for a playable ghoul mod, but the only ones i found where mostly a texture
replacement for the player race. The other i found was a console command bat file but it lacked the preset for the facial
structures of a ghoul. This is why i made this mod to give players a little more authentic look of a ghoul, not just textures but
also shape and passive abilities such as radiation immunity.
Q: Now that the CK has been released, any plans on expanding this mod?
A: I certainly already have done so. Originaly i wanted to quit this mod, as others who came before
me and after me, would always be superior, but to my suprise, there hasnt been any actual working, and
authentic playable Ghoul mods out there, just humans with really messed up skin.
Q: Are you planning on porting this mod to the consoles?

Q: I uninstalled the mod midgame but the rad immunity is still there. MAH IMMERSON IS RUNINED! How to fix?
A: Open the console command menu and type: player.removespell 001B1FF4

Q: I wanna be a Ghoul, but i dont want Rad Immunity. Is it possible?
A: Ofcorse. A modder called corvianNoctis made a patched version of the mod here https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/66098
this will get rid of the rad immunity but also keeps you as a ghoul
