Are the bugs Before or After you've been hacked? Are you fixing them or are they spam? Sorry for the questions but a lot of the comments are saying their computers crashed and other mods have been compromised by your mod.

@robertduffy Dude, they are TEXT files. You can download and examine them yourself to see they are clean. Also, all these do is issue two commands to the console. You can even do them yourself manually.

This download is 100% safe as of 12-17-15.

      @Grabbax

This mod is literally some text files that you have to execute using the ingame console, this mod isn't the cause of your crashing...

Looking forward to trying out your mod, however it seems that the Install via NMM button is only installing 1.2. Not sure if this is something you need to update on your end or not. Looks like it's only letting me install 1.3 manually at the moment.

Edit: Just realized that you literally just posted this, so it may just not be 100% live yet (not used to "military" time, had to do some math).

In fact NMM place the file inside the data folder... That is not what we want right?

That's caused a problem for me. I thought that there were significant version differences between 1.2 & 1.3, not just a format change, and I couldn't get it to work right without NMM.

I'd recommend just naming it 1.2 NMM version until there's an actual version difference between the two.

      Hi,

you wrote "Type the following without the quotes into the console: "bat settlement" to higher the default by near 3x"

I've written bat settlement as you said, it works. But... i don't see ANY limit. :/

doesnt work trough nmm (first time install, maybe u had lost files in other folders during your testing?)
batch file not in the correct directory.

      also, after searching further,
      why do all this hassle..
you have a mod, install it with NMM but then it has nothing to do with NMM or even fallout,
its just a cheatengine script that allows even more third party etc etc..

just use a command on the workstation to find the current triangle and object size of a workshop, then set them a little higher (no problem going from settlement size 1500 to 4500 for example this way,
it all within the original parameters of the game without having to screw around with non working mods and extra programs..
      http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_4_console_commands#Size_Budget

i think your intention is great, but why on earth would you do it like this... there is actually a COMMAND for it.. but you choose to make ppl download and install extra programms etc ?

I am confused about the rant by W0lfdale. What third party programs? Was this when you were hacked? Cause I never saw any third party programs, just a text file, which the game reads as a batch file that runs a command in the command prompt of the game.

      Am I missing something here?

Apparently the mod "settlement limits slashed" didn't do it's thing, so I had to install this. I can confirm it is working. The description wasn't much help tbh. I got it to work by opening the console, clicking the settlement, then doing "bat settlement". Thanks for posting.

So, because this is a BAT file and requires a console command, does this mean this cannot be used on Survival mode? Could you release a version that's just a normal mod and not some file you have to activate in-game?

For everyone having a problem with this, make sure you move the files out from the 0 - Bat folder into the root Fallout 4 folder.

It seems like you can change the leading 3 in settlement.txt to a 9 for 9x storage but I haven't tested enough yet.

maybe read the description next time you look at a mod, this is a text file with lines of code that are run with the Bat command ingame through the console

If I remember correctly, it's the limit you're allowed when building things in a settlement. There's a bar near the top-right when you're in the Workshop menu that increases every time you built something. The max limit is the "settlement budget".

Mod is not working for me, placed the files into the Fallout 4 folder and when I type bat settlement into the console the stuff pops up, but the settlement size doesn't increase. Where do I place the files exactly?

Based on your comment, it sound like you have the file in the right place, but you didn't target the red settlement workshop in the console.

To run the get the higher settlement budget, you have to open the console, click on the red settlement workshop (it should show a hex number in parenthesis), then run the command.

This mod works fine for anyone wanting to know, anyone saying otherwise has a specific issue regarding their own mod list/game.

Sadly it's abandoned. But still works!

I seem to be having an occasional issue with it. I cannot seem to get it to work at Outpost Zimonja no matter how many times I type in the "bat settlement" command.

Same here, Zimonja was the first settlement I started on my new playthrough and it wouldn't work, so I thought the mod was broken. Turns out it works everywhere else beside Zimonja. lmk if you have found/find a fix!
