    Here a Clue on when you can expect the next update for Pip-Boy Customisation Framework and Aether89 Pip-Boy Customisation Pack to be released.

    === UPDATE ===
    New Update Released, Some new textures are added and the options to work the same as Creation Club Paint so can apply the theme to all the Pip-Boy rather than pieces by Pieces.
     
    The 242 was in references to the 242nd Anniversary of the Signing of the Declarations of Independence.
    The Update was to go live on the 4th of July 2018; However, I uploaded it a little bit earlier, but not much.

    that moment when you really would like this mod but it requires you to DL another mod you'll never use and take up valuable ESP space

    Hey Aether89, I'd love to be able to get this to work for me, but can't seem to get the front and back colors to change not matter what. Everything else works text, screens etc. I have your framework installed.

    Not sure if you are still providing support, thanks in advance.
    EDIT: Seems not, don't worry though I fixed the issue.

    I'm downloading the file to my phone to endorse. [I'm Xbox] I've been using this since I've started modding, never deleted. I love it because of the modularity and implementation. Hands down THE best mod for pip-boys out there. Thank you for giving me the chance to experience this. @Aether89 (Is there a chance of making a Clean default green?)

      I am glad that you like it. Could you be more specifics about making a Clean default green ? as i already some green variant but i don't think those are the one that you desire. If you could send me a sample of the green that you desire, it would be appreciated.

      If you have any other simple colors ideayou would like to see i can give it a try,

      Quick Fact. I did not intent for it to be the best mod for Pip-Boy's, this was made mostly to show what can be done with the Pip-Boy Customisation Framework, so other could create their own pack of textures.

      @Aether89 The same colour green the default pip-boy is. When you get the pip-boy two hundred years later it has rusted over in spots. I noticed that you produce remarkable quality with the textures and colours in your pack. I was hoping you could add an option for the standard pip-boy without the rust. Just a clean alternative. I tend to kit my factions with pip-boys and the US Army faction I try to field the standard colour. But my narrative is that I'm producing these devices new. So it's only a minor thing really. I just figured you never know unless you ask.

      Oh Ok now i get it.
      I will give it another try, i did not like the result i got in the past, so that why i did not do it for the default one, if i do it i will have to make it to the doctor in vault 111 have it and maybe's some Vault dweller in vault 81 have it too.
      Do you have more color you would like to see as id rather upload a couple of recolor together than only for just one. PS Background are on standby for now, need to change how they are implemented if i can.

      Since i recently acquired a Xbox One and a digital copy of Fallout 4 without the season pass for now, i will now be able to test it myself on Xbox One.
      I saw that i haven't uploaded the latest version of Pip-Boy Customisation Framework as there no glowing labels like i added on PC, will also need to update the pc version first as there some change i want to do, may as well skip the current version for the next

      I mean you kinda covered the spectrum of colours already lol I'm racking my mind for colour ideas and I keep thinking about a colour and remember you already have it. One thought that does come up are design schemes like your corporate colour schemes. Maybe a Boston Police Department or Sheriff's Department. Faction schemes? I know one area that is limited in option is the button colours( Like Radioactive green or blue, red or white) and leather (although you don't really see the leather, so what does that matter?) Knobs would be interesting. Have you played around with material ideas like wood, metals (gold, silver and copper) or carbon-fiber? I think your Pip-boy extras are well fleshed out (The things like this protocol and medical injector. Genius)

      i did not play with material idea, as i am not a graphics artist, my retextures are simply recolors with one added touch to the tape deck at the most. The most complex i could make was my nuka-cola one.The leather i did not use it myself but added it as and some retextures on the nexus change it. Reason i did not do the knobs is because i did not have any idea for it that would look good.

      The Pip-Boy extra are mostly Power Armor mod that i thought would fit with the Pip-Boy, so nothing original, i may expand the Pip-Boy extra in a third mod. I ported a while ago this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15111/? to use my framework, and added some feature in the framework to support it, the original author which i sent the ported files never uploaded it. My plan is to improve on what i did, fix some issue i did not realize it had when i ported it, and upload it , i have permission to do it but i preferred the original author to it,This will be both for PC and Xbox One.

      Just spit balling. Lol either way this mod is amazing. I remember starting game after game because I couldn't settle on a pip-boy I liked. Then I seen this and almost had a heart attack. I'm surprised nobody has tried to make huge texture packs with your framework :/

      Sure, but could you wait for the next revision, as i will introduce a most requested features for Xbox One Users, Separate Download for Each Category and want to fix some thing in the framework first.

      Didn't get around to complete the update i wanted to do, and with the latest Patch that added the possibility to modify the pip-boy without making it playable, I have to do some change to be compatible with it and take advantage of it too.

      But yes i made a non rusted version of the default color.
      Just need to add it into the game.

    i cant customize my pipboy, watched gophers video & all i get when looking at my pipboy in the armor bench is " lookup failed"

      This issue could be caused by another mod. I could suggest to make a backup of your save, And turning some off some mod ( mostly interface mod or mod that change the strings ) then try loading without then. If it work turn one back on and try again to see if you have anything else thatn a Lookup failed.

      Could also try renaming your Fallout 4 save folder and loading as new for the settings and save.

      yea i just decided to uninstall it. figured it was likely an issue on my end. seems like an awesome mod, from what i saw in gophers video & here on the mod page. starting to get burned out on fallout 4 atm anyway lol, still hit the endorse & vote buttons though

    Does anyone know if this works with the new vanilla PipBoy customization option introduced by the Creation Club, or if it could easily be made to work with it? I love the customizability of this mod, but now I prefer to hook as much stuff into vanilla functionality as I can, rather than overriding it.

      Currently the answer is Pip-Boy Customisation Framework Partially support the vanilla Pip-Boy attach point.
      If you switch to the vanilla Pip-Boy yes this one will support it.

      If you switch back to the Pip-Boy Customisation Framework Pip-Boy this attach point is not used currently by that instance of the Pip-Boy, but will soon be implemented as an options.

      And this pack will forever required Pip-Boy Customisation Framework, which if you don't want all the options you can turn them off in the settings holotape, the Framework is required for the Background.

      Okay, thanks for the info. I'm planning to reinstall your framework anyway. After some more thought, I decided I like how yours works more than the vanilla version, and you've got too many great-looking skins in here to pass up. I'm planning to distribute a bunch of Pip-Boys to random settlers so it feels like more Vault-dwellers came up to the surface, as opposed to just having the Sole Survivor and like 2 or 3 others, aside from Vaults 81 and 88.

    I was really looking forward to using this mod but I cannot stand the green background. Have you ever thought about adding an option for background color? I use Clean Black Pip-Boy Screen by GodMod99 but it doesn't seem to transfer over to your mod, so I have to go back to the vanilla pip-boy using your Aid item to be able to see, the green just messes with my eyes something bad. It'd be pretty awesome if you decided to throw a black screen option in

      I think there might be something else a bit wrong as I cannot see any background images either. I can see them in your screenshots, maybe I installed wrong somewhere.

      It normal that GodMod99 doesn't transfer to my mod as i use a custom material files to set everything up, I may have once thought about adding background colour, just never seemed that important to me.

      Xzynk you are going to feel that the next part of the message is pretty awesome.

      During the week-end i will start adding background Colours in phase.
      First Phase -> Replacement pack, so i can release it earlier so you can use it earlier. Will be ready at the latest Sunday August 6, 2017
      Second Phase -> Implement background colour in Pip-Boy Customisation Framework as an option, ( will take a while, i want to test some ideas, that if one of them work will make it easier for the future.)
      Third Phase -> integrate the change inside the Aether89 Pip-Boy Customisation Pack
      Fourth Phase -> Public Release.

      If you are unable to see the background images it normal, it all depend on the environmental lightning. It was a compromise i had to make so the background doesn't become a distractions, and make the text and the map harder to read.

      That's great news, I really like the modular design and you can change whatever you want on a whim in the same game without changing mods. Really look forward to a black background!

      Hi Xyznk, i uploaded the replacement pack i told you about, Could you test it, it is not a total black, but should be an improvement. You can use Clean Black Pip-Boy Screen by GodMod99 for the default background, but would recommend to remove the PipBoyScreenDust01_d.dds that come with it, if you want the screen to be clean well just mod the Pip-Boy to have one of the various clean screen that come with Pip-Boy Customisation Framework.

      I looked back in the game and the Background are easier to see during the day while almost invisible during the night.

      Is it an option to change to the black? Installing didn't seem to change the screen and I see no additional options.

      Edit: I think there is a bit of difference for logo visibility although it is now a different time of day in game...

      Also how do I use another default background for this mod like you mentioned?

      It is not an option to change to black for now, as it only replacements materials and textures.

      i did the same mistake yesterday when testing, if that not working trie extracting a89_pipboycustom - Main.ba2 and a89_pipboycustom - Textures.ba2 to your data directory and placing the overwrite over them. Still the change are really subtle as i only change the background to grayscale, may need nose adjustments of contrast and luminosity. And i may not have a backup of the backgrounds in layers so would take a while to redo everything, which is why i am looking into an alternative way of doing it.

      - Also how do I use another default background for this mod like you mentioned?
      The default background is the one with no image so just installing Clean Black Pip-Boy Screen should do the job.

      Yes and No. As these are made by other you would have to ask Taiwendo to either make it compatible with the framework or him to contact me so i could port it to the framework.
