KelvinHD Reshade Presets for use with Fallout 4

KelvinHD is a standalone Reshade meant to be used with the games HBAO/SSAO + DOF + Effects. KelvinHD is turned off by default; you must use Scroll Lock key to turn it on/off in game.

KelvinHD enhances and corrects color, provides enhanced visuals. It works well with F4ECC, Fransson's Light Tweaks, True Storms Wasteland Edition, and Texture Replacements.

- Updated to 1.4. More tweaks to visual style. Slightly brighter version.
- Updated to 1.3. Improves performance over previous version, with slight tweaks to visual style.

Please use Version 1.3, (darker), or 1.4 (Lighter). Original versions suffer from Bloom issues, and 1.2 had some performance issues. Both 1.3 and 1.4 should be very light on performance, while offering much better detail.

For alternative visual styles, I recommend using one or another variation of Fallout 4 Enhanced Color Correction along with KelvinHD. Gloom offers a nicely desaturated look which is sharply redefined by KelvinHD, while the other 2 variations offer slightly more saturation of color in two flavors. Use NMM to install all versions of F4ECC and you can switch between color profiles between games.

In some cases, I recommend removing the specular map replacements in add-on retexture files as they can create some ultra-reflective surfaces which might look quite abnormal. Only generally if you notice an issue. This seems to be less an issue with v1.2; I can still see a glossy effect in the 2 specific specs that were an issue before, but only if I'm standing on them.

I also recommend the Better Fake Reflections mod to tone down the excessive glare on puddles. It's not perfect, but it's a sight better than those ice-like reflections.

KelvinHD has a light hit on performance, being designed with the intent to enhance visuals on top of the games existing settings and effects with minimal performance impact.

Let me know if you find any issues, or like what you see.

More detailed Instructions are in the KelvinHD Readme file, but more or less go as follows:

I only provide the modified files for the preset. In order to use these files, you have to first download the Reshade framework from
http://reshade.me/ extracting the required files to your Fallout 4 Game directory, (above the Data folder), read the EULA and Readme that come with the Framework, run the Mediator and determine the correct dll to use, rename that appropriately, and copy it to the Game Directory.

Enjoy!
