This mod adds rings to the game. Most of them will have effects the same as other armor upgrades. It is also possible for the rings to be actual legendary items as well. The rings that spawn on legendary enemies will have 2 effects. The base effect and the legendary effect as well.
The balancing is based on perks. For example, Deep pocketed requires Armorer 2 so the ring equivalent wont spawn until level 13 because that's the level requirement for that perk. You cannot remove or alter these rings at a bench.
The mod seamlessly adds the rings, no leveled lists have been altered directly. This is for maximum compatibility.
Unfortunately all the rings have to have the legendary star next to them. for some reason Bethesda decided that only legendary armor can have a description in the Pipboy and examining menu.
The rings are fairly rare. If you'd like to see them more often you can run the command
set legendaryringchance to x
range is 0-99, lower numbers = higher chance. default is 95
