ANYONE WHO'S HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THEIR COMPANION  NOT LOOKING EXACTLY LIKE THE COMPANION IN MY PHOTOS READ BELOW.
Most people who are experiencing this problem are people who have previously edited their companion through "SLM" or "SHOWLOOKSMENU". So what you will have to do is reset your companion's face with the face ripper utility. So head over to the faceripper's page with the link below and read the section that states "The Reset Button". Before resetting the companion's face uninstall the modified companion mod.Then reinstall it after you have reset the companion's face.
