New fix for old mod but if anyone is having problem with the radio turning silent all the sudden you should: 1. Turn off of the radio 2. Open console and type startscene xx000901 (xx being the number of the mods load order) 3. Exit console and tune in again it should work after that fix

this mod pairs well with "Chinese Remnants" by SabutaiKhan, "America Rising 2 - Legacy of the Enclave" by Otellino, "Boston Emergency Services Mod (BESM)" by CelsiuZ, "The Commonwealth Responders - A Fallout 4 Quest Mod" by dinsdag2011, "CSEP Presents All Americans 2.0 DELUXE EXPANDED EDITION - Quest Mod", "All Americans - Voiced Player Lines Addon" by Deleted127669558User, "Driveable Motorcycle Mod" by slevin92, "Gunners Overhaul - Initially Friendly Gunners" by BangBangYouAreDead, "Audio Overhaul Project - Gunners Overhaul - Initially Friendly Gunners" by CaptainCrackhorse, and "Private Contract - Talon Company Mercenaries" by SabutaiKhan if anyone wanted more lore friendly locations/factions added to their game
Anyone here have insight into how radio mods work and are configured in FO4? Trying to patch this to work alongside Radio New Vegas as the two mods overlap (literally, only one can be visible at a time and they play on top of each other)
Efforts to change the frequency have done nothing. Mojave Radio uses frequency 87.00000, which I tried changing in FO4edit but it doesn't fix the issue. This mod seems to be set up differently as well, as this mod has no frequency visible in FO4edit to change.
Conelrad doesn't work with radio new veags https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/24320?, the radio stations are overlapping and I can't even pick conelrad as a station.
Sometimes the radio will no longer work, i don't know why, but it can be easily fixed.
Just follow these steps:
1: Exit the game and disable the mod 2: Return to the game, you will receive a mesage from fallout 4 that Conelrad Esp is missing from your load order, just ignore and click play. 3: In game, make a new save, this new save will not have the Conelrad mod anymore, after that, exit the game. 4: Enable the mod again, and put it in your load order again. 5: Load your new save, and you should see the Conelrad station once again, tune in and it should work again.
I just wanted to say thank you. I tried a number of different processes that people posted, and none worked. Your solution worked for me. I think the key to your process is step #3 where you make a new save without Conelrad. Once I followed your steps, I now have the joy of traveling through Boston and enjoying my favorite station.

right side of equals sign is blank! To mod Fallout 4 we had to add this line to Fallout4custom.ini, remember? So, whatever you change in Fallout4.ini, will be overwritten at game start, and for a reason. It is good that it does this.

The full non-replacer standalone version has been released!
Conelrad is once again its own radio that will not remove or replace any other radio station in game. Enjoy!
1. Turn off of the radio
2. Open console and type startscene xx000901 (xx being the number of the mods load order)
3. Exit console and tune in again it should work after that fix

does this have to be installed manually?
Sometimes MO2 doesn't activate it automatically
Just follow these steps:
1: Exit the game and disable the mod
2: Return to the game, you will receive a mesage from fallout 4 that Conelrad Esp is missing from your load order, just ignore and click play.
3: In game, make a new save, this new save will not have the Conelrad mod anymore, after that, exit the game.

5: Load your new save, and you should see the Conelrad station once again, tune in and it should work again.
By creating a new save without the mod, the new save will no longer have any data of the mod.
By installing the mod again on this new save, is the equal of installing the mod for the first time.

Just to save you some unnecessary headache.
