BREAKDOWN
Once you unjam a failed forced lock, you no longer have the ability to force it open. You must pick the lock normally. Locks are unjammed by pressing interact a handful of times. Bashing locks costs a very small amount of health.
In true RPG fashion, your SPECIAL stats determine your success with forcing locks and unjamming locks. You can determine if Perception, Agility, or Luck is your determining factor in the MCM. Strength is the determining SPECIAL stat for bashing open locks. Perception is the determining SPECIAL stat for shooting open locks.
If XP is enabled in the MCM, forcing a lock open grants roughly half of the XP that you would recieve from normally picking that lock.
You can only pick locks that are 1 level below your relevant perk level. Master locks cannot be forced.
