Using a bunch of mods to make the UI of fallout 4, hud and pipboy with the pipboyfx=0 left me with mostly green UI except for the map icons which were stuck as white, after many hours of testing this and that i settled on using fallUI - Map and just tweak the included .ini to cover everything with Green, so now all map icons should be green and saw other people in the comments of fallUI - Map asking for/how to make an all Green version, figured i might as well upload mine.
FallUI - Map and MCM is required.
After installing above mods and my .ini, head over to FallUI - Map in the MCM > Map and markers and in the Map marker section, for Color set option select Custom color set. Below a new row of text will appear; - Custom color set name, left click on said text and type:
Fallout 4 Green
, hit enter and exit the MCM. Now all map icons should be green.
I dont see why anyone would do it manually in 2024, but if you want to install it yourself the file goes into here:
