Simply throw the grenade in the air above your target, and after 1.65 seconds, the cluster housing will break free, releasing a cloud of aerosol and six small explosives. The explosives will fall for a further 2 seconds to ensure the aerosol is properly dispersed, before it explodes in a cloud of epic mayhem!
Each cluster grenade releases six small explosive capsules, and a cloud of high explosive aerosol, that upon landing, split in half, releasing 12 rather modest explosions simultaneously that ignite the aerosol, causing a MASSIVE explosion of fire!
obtaining the grenades:
Grenades are added to the level list of gunners, raiders, loot containers and vendors after level 5, however if you would like to add the item to your inventory, the Form ID is FE039002. player.additem FE039002 10 will add 10 to your inventory
In 2076, the united states armed forces developed an experimental explosive that could deal with the possible threat of Chinese power armor. Alex Cooper, a small time scientist working for an offshoot research branch of the united states military, was tasked with creating these. Due to the fact they had to deal with power armor, that had to be HIGHLY explosive. This also made them dangerous to use, especially as a thrown explosive mind you, so the us military abandoned the prototype in august of 2077, not one year after inception. However, small caches have found their way around the commonwealth, ending up in the hands of dangerous raiders, and the even more dangerous and organized 'gunners'. Be careful where you step when these bad boys are around.
