Download the reshade framework from reshade.me. (You'll have to scroll down to the bottom under "Legacy downloads" and get version 1.1 since I haven't had time to update the preset to the new version yet).
Download the ENB Binaries 0.291 for Fallout 4 from http://enbdev.com/download_mod_fallout4.htm. Download this preset. Uncompress the files you downloaded. (I used 7zip). Then navigate to your C: drive. Find ProgramFiles(x86), open it. Then find the folder labeled Steam, open it. Then steamapps, common, and Fallout 4. Drag and drop the reshade framework into the Fallout 4 folder. Drag and drop the files from the preset into your fallout 4 directory and overwrite when it asks you to. Then drag and drop ONLY THE D3D11.DLL AND d3dcompiler_46e.DLL from the ENB binaries into your Fallout 4 folder. Then you're done.
I tried installing this, following the instructions exactly, and my game crashes on startup. It works fine if I don't use it but for some reason it doesn't work. I was using the Apocalypse preset if that matters.
I like your "Toxicity" preset. It has a real "Book of Eli" feel to it, though a little heavy on the saturation. Nice job. If you made a hybrid between that and the "Apocalypse", you'd have a real winner on your hands, my friend.
Anyone know how to turn off the weird double vision effect? It feels like I'm playing on an old tv and I'd love it to be a bit clearer round the edges thanks.
EDIT tracked it down to Reshade/SweetFX/#define USE_CA set to 0 to get rid of the double vision blurred edge madness.
The site has moved around a heck of a lot but you can still get reshade 1.1 (sweetFX 2.0) by clicking the presets button on the top navbar or use this handy link to get straight to the page. You'll want, SweetFX 2.0 (Preview 8 | ReShade 1.1.0) which is the top option.
