About this mod
Buffs the following weapon types (aka Bolt Action flagged weapons) when used by players: "Bolt Action/Lever Action/Pump Action/Single Action Revolver". This mod doesn't edit anything that already exists, so it's probably 100% compatible with any mod. Requirements: F4SE

I've always felt that these weapons are often inferior to other weapons except in VATS.
Bolt Action/Lever Action/Pump Action/Single Action Revolver are now buffed to 125%(+25%) total damage and 150%(+50%) limb damage. If explosives/wounding/poisoner's/incendiary legendary, buff them by 200%(+100%). By default, buffs are only applied when not VATS.
This mod does not have MCM or holotape, but the following console commands are available. This is because I felt that 1 - 3 minutes for the console commands you type makes more sense than the 30 - 60 minutes I spend creating these options.
set BoltActionDmgMultGV to 1.X
(For total damage. 1.25 = 125%)
set BoltActionLimbDmgMultGV to 1.X
(For limb damage. 1.5 = 150%)
set BoltActionLGNDmgMultGV to 1.X
(For explosives/wounding/poisoner's/incendiary legendary. 2.0 = 200%)
set BoltActionAllowInVATSGV to X
(0 OR 1. If 1, the buff also applies to VATS. Default is 0.)
set BoltActionDebugGV to X
(0 OR 1. If 1, notifies you when you equip a bolt action flagged weapon. Default is 0.)
[How does this mod work?]
When you equip a Bolt Action flagged weapon, the script will add a hidden perk. This mod had to use F4SE because as far as I know there is no way to check Bolt Action flags without scripting. Buffs are done by hidden perk and are not scripted.
[Compatibility]
This mod doesn't edit anything that already exists, so it's probably 100% compatible with any mod.
[Known Issues]
- In the inventory menu, you cannot see changes to total damage until you open the inventory menu again. And when equipping a weapon with the Bolt Action flag, other weapons stats will show incorrect values.
- In VATS, calculated damage and total damage do not match if BoltActionAllowInVATSGV is 0. (If 1, the buff also applies to VATS. Default is 0.)
[Q&A]
Q: Why isn't MCM/Holotape included in the mod?
A: My mods are usually ready to use out of the box.
