In Vanilla Fallout shooting at foes feels like hitting paper. I did this mod as some kind of inofficial addon to Giammotto's brillant Bullet Impact Overhaul.
In the past I played with mods like Simple Impact, which is really great, but the Impact sounds always felt disconnected and like a layer on top of the game sounds for me. So I layered new impact sounds and modified how they play in-game. I also upped the weapon volume a bit (the weapons always sounded too low for my taste).
