Were you often disturbed in your immersion when you heard the previous voices fromWelcome to Goodneighbor? I can tell you: I couldneverplay the mod for this reason. Butnow this problem is a thing of the past!
This mod started a few days ago as a small, personal project on my part. After realizing that my work turned out pretty good, I thought that perhaps others might also be interested in improving their gaming experience. The voices in this mod were created using public, freely available and high quality artificial intelligence. The voices themselves were selected by me to suit the different characters and were professionally audio-technically adjusted - based on my own preferences, of course.
TO INSTALL: I didn't see the point in creating an empty .esp file just to load some custom voices into the game. This is absolutely unnecessary - you can simply install this archive via your mod manager as usual (I use Mod Organizer 2), or you can unpack this archive and simply paste the "Sound" folder into your main Fallout 4 directory. I think almost everyone should be able to do this by now. And in case it isn't clear, for whatever reason: Of course you need the actual main mod!
TO UNINSTALL: Uninstalling is of course just as easy: If you use a mod manager, simply delete the installed archive. If you installed the files manually, simply delete the "WelcometoGoodneighbor.esp" folder under "Data\Sound\Voice\WelcometoGoodneighbor.esp".
This mod is complete and has been meticulously checked for functionality. I wish you and your ears a hopefully more pleasant stay in Welcome to Goodneighbor.
HINT: If you use Welcome to Goodneighbor in combination with PRP, remember to install the corresponding patch found here: Cannibal Toast's PRP Patch Compendium
